This place was quite nice. Semi- formal, a good place for business dinners and that special night out. The food, while pricey,... was delicious. They did not skip out on the presentation either. Amazing food and wonderful atmosphere. We had the pan seared crab cakes (did not get a picture but they were delicious) The pork... chop was melt in your mouth fantastic and the chicken fell right off the bone. The dining room was busy for mother's day but was able to get a table at the bar. We had the cheese bread and it's very cheesy,... fried Brussels sprouts with 3 sauces were a little greasy for me but delicious. We ordered fish & chips - 3 tiny pieces offried halibut, fries and coleslaw. They were good but wish the fish were a little thicker. The prime rib was very tender andwell seasoned but it has a lot of fat and little meat. The kale salad with shrimps were fresh and you get 4 large pieces ofshrimps. The server was very attentive and friendly. Overall we enjoyed our meals. Will probably go back to try other items. Read more
Stanfords in Hillsboro. We went to Happy hour at the one place we had our first date 17 years ago. We call it our... date-averisary. Beaverton location on 185th. They have a great happy hour menu. I had a Manhattan and a Huckleberry Raindrop.Spinach artichoke dip, Caesar salad and Andouille Pepper Bacon Mac & Cheese. It did not disappoint. Dessert? Of course. CremeBrulee, one if my favorites. Very nice classy place to eat, we went pretty dressed for a celebration but you can go dressed anyway you like now days. We had... a reservation so we got seated pretty quick and the service in Not too notch but good. Our server was ver kind and somewhatpersonable but did t check on us enough. The food was tasty and decent portions but expect to pay a high price for yourfood. Reason for the 3 star was my surprise to receive such a thin Filet Mignon, we have eaten all over the west coast from SanDiego up to Washington and although the taste was good and steak pretty tender we expect a nice thick Filet steak not a thinFilet as you see in the pictures. Also the Ribeye Steak was thin, we go to a Steakhouse to get a nice thick cut steak that maybe difficult to cook at home not a Safeway cut steak. Some family chain restaurants will give you a thicker Filet Mignon. Ihope they work on this and more attentive servers. Read more
