Loved the Sue Sue special, went back a few weeks later and they made even though not a special that night,
Horrible food. This is the 2nd time I have tried of late and the food did not match to what was ordered from the menu.. I am... not sure if anyone Italian works there anymore, but this is not Italian food. Will never order again. Even the bread wasstale and impossible to eat. I have supported all restaurants through the pandemic, but this place should not have made it. Read more
Just had a repass meal there, food was ok, service was below any reasonable level. We unfortunately over estimated our number 40... which is fine. We would expect to pay for what they prepared. We had only 23 there were no leftovers to take except a tray ofsalad 4 pieces of chicken, one piece of veal. A small bowl of pasta and a small bowl of sausage and peppers. So they certainlydidn’t cook for 40 and wouldn’t budge on their price. Again I have no issue with paying full price but I would expect tohave food for 40. Really would not recommend this place to anyone for this type of need. Also the manager was gruff. When askingto dump some of the sauce from the sausage and peppers he did so grudgingly and the sauce still spilled out, soaked through thebox and even the towel I laid down and into my seat cushion. This place is the real deal and not enough people go here. Cafe G has a full Italian menu, the service is amazing, the Sea Bass... Lemon Piccata I had was out of this world with lots of fish and perfect sauce. Good place for kids/family. Chicken Parm wassolid, Penne with Vodka Sauce - excellent, Lump crab appetizer was excellent, I didn't love the octopus appetizer (overcooked)but the rest of the meal was perfect. We have this place in our primary Italian food rotation of restaurants. Read more
Very good food and good service at a reasonable price. I had a grilled chicken dish and my husband had angel hair with lump crab... in marinara sauce. This is something he doesn't see at many restaurants and was excited to try. He was very happy with it - andhe's not too easy to please! I thoroughly enjoyed my chicken dish as well. We will definitely be back again, anxious to trysome of the other dishes we saw on the menu. Read more
