Horrible. We’ve been patrons for years. Now under new ownership and my order missed HALF the items. When I called I was told... they don’t make those items. So why was it available for purchase? Then I was given the run around about a refund. Neveragain. Plus the pizza was not correct. No offering for refund or to remake the order. Read more

Last week I ordered pizza here. One of the worst pizza in entire New Jersey. I never had such disgusting pizza in my life in any... state. If you don’t know how to make pizza you should seriously think and train your staff. my kids started laughing afterseeing pizza, I just trashed it. Crust is like stone and nothing is cooked. Friends please think before you go here. Sorry RomanGourmet it’s time to improve, once you were my favourite…… Read more

Food was okay. We asked for deep-dish crust but they gave us normal crust. Garlic knots were barely cooked. We ordered online... through Slice. When Slice sent us a text that our order was ready, they were only starting to make our pizza. Read more

Discussing food this just earned my rank as worst pizza in town. $44 for barely cooked pizza, an inedible soggy water filled... Stromboli and small calamari. $44 for absolute garbage. Eggplant garlic Stromboli- soggy water dripping everywhere - had tothrow away inedible Meatball pizza - barely cooked pizza burnt meatballs. This is pizza, not rocket science. Take a littlepride. Officially the worst pizzeria in town. Hadn’t had it in a while tried again for a change wow was it BAD. Read more

I have ordered a few times from here each time hoping they will get it right. I order Buffalo chicken pizza and ask for week... done (crispy). The back of the pizza should not be black , floppy, and the cheese is not even melted. It’s stringy. No matterhow specific I am with my request it never gets cooked right. What happened to a crispy crust? It’s almost impossible to findanywhere around Hillsborough or Montgomery Twp. Read more

When it comes to pizza it's the best place In Hillsboro, it's always on point I order to pick up I come in and out and back to... my house to eat. The prices are also fair and not over the top. Inside the place is very inviting and good for family dinner. Read more

Roman Gourmet is located in the corner of a busy shopping center in Hillsborough, NJ. There is decent parking, though crossing... the lot can be a challenge sometimes with the amount of people and traffic in this strip mall. Once inside, one finds an ampleamount of seating, as well as a pleasant atmosphere with cozy lighting. Another plus is the vast drink options this placeoffers, including Boylan Sodas, one of my favorites for birch beer. This establishment has gone through several changes in thepast few years to become what it is today. The first time I ate pizza from this restaurant was when I was a child and it wascalled "Franks Pizza." This eventually moved on to "G&M Pizza," and then "Nelson's Corner Pizza," before finally becoming the"Roman Gourmet" it is today. Initially, I was upset with the change as I had enjoyed the pizza prior to the change because itwas rich with garlic flavor and Roman Gourmet is not. After revisiting, however, I realize that the quality here is really good. The crust has not changed much over the years and remains fluffy and delicious. The cheese is fresh and has a long stretchfactor. The sauce is also quite rich and flavorful. The chicken, bacon, ranch slice was much more enjoyable than the collegetown slices I'm used to. The chicken was cooked well and full of flavor and the bacon was crispy. There wasn't an overuse of theranch sauce either, which is one of the key flaws with these specialty slices. I'm glad this place got the ratio right. Read more
