It is a very decent restaurant with very decent food and with reasonable quantity and presentation. I order beer so I cannot... comment on the quality of the drinks? It has gotten a bit pricey since Covid-19 but this is not indicative of just TheCornerstone. The service is what you expect and it is rather efficient. Since I worked there as a waiter and elsewhere, Ineither give waiters/waitresses a hard time nor do I bust management's arses, either! It is neighborhood and you get the locals- some of whom know neither time nor place - and they overshadow what is usually a relatively controlled crowd. Fridays andSaturdays are what you'd expect - so if you are not into them, leave by 9:30 or go on another night. The place works and youaccept it for what it is and you will not leave disappointed. Super interesting old restaurant. Its architecture and European interior design, with its rich woodwork and wrought iron... railings, somewhat puts me to mind of a medieval castle. The place is multi leveled, multi roomed, and deceptively large. AND,best of all, they serve very good food and grog. The lobster bisque soup is spot on as are their sandwiches and salads. Serviceby our waitress, Laurie, was quick, knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great table and a memorable lunch. We'll be back. Read more
I was there for a baby shower, the place can perfectly accommodate 20-30 people. They have a good bar and brunch is good,... plenty of options. There is parking in the back of the building. Read more
We had my daughter's baby shower in Feb and choose the Saturday brunch. I can't say enough good things about the place and the... people who work there. The rooms for the shower were well lit and roomy. The workers were friendly, helpful, and attentive. Iwouldn't think twice about doing it again. In this day and age of places really not living up to the standard theyshould-Cornerstone came through. Read more
One of the only places to offer unlimited mimosas included in the price!! Food was amazing (best waffle I’ve had from a... brunch, hands down!!) the staff was great and everyone was helpful and friendly. 10/10 recommend their brunch to anyone!!! Its a very cozy spot something I wouldn’t have expected from a sport venue. The service was incredibly quick and the food was... excellent. The friend Mac & cheese balls were absolutely divine, very soft Inside and a light crunch outside, as well the spicychicken burrito. Read more
If you want to enjoy the best price and tasty food you HAVE to come here! Excellent service and food. Also have dinning outside... and super clean ???????????????? recommended. Presentation and packaging for take out is great as well as the tasty food inside.Oh ~~~ the Berry Sangria ????. Thanks to all the friendly staff members and great food! My hometown bar. Im not often back in town but i tend to find myself here at some point when i am. I like the food!, the wings... are underrated, always have been. Id probably reco sticking to drinks on tap, and tipping all the waiters extra. All the staffare kids from the local high school and they work hard and do a good job. When i last visited a half dozen people asked me if iwas being tended to - i was, i was waiting for a friend to arrive.. but that kind of attention deserves some sort ofrecognition.
