Food was as expected. But... When did fast food places start hounding customers for tips? Pretty sure the staff already gets... paid at least minimum wage at all fast food chains. Tips are supposed to be for wait staff that make roughly $2/hour withoutthose tips and who spend a significant amount of time catering to your needs as you eat (refilling your drink and cleaning upafter your meal, etc.). It's very off-putting of Subway to now ask for a standard tip as a default for employees who are alreadymaking the standard non-tip wage for the role they are filing. I didn't expect a tip when I did worked a similar job, but herewe are. So, I don't think I'll be continuing to patronize the chain after this experience. That's just extremely tacky. Ofcourse, that's not the fault of this location. It was built into the payment system Subway had now adopted. So, the only thing Iwould fault this location in particular for is that the moment I skipped the tip, the friendliness I had been experiencing wassuddenly and (extremely) abruptly ended. Like going from 50mph to literally a full stop. Not even a thank you or any otherfurther acknowledgment of any kind from that instance on. I had thought about leaving a tip at the table like I do atfull-service restaurants, but no way after that. Because I would NEVER want to encourage that type of unprofessional behavior. Read more
Talk about the friendliest subway I've ever walked into. Great attitudes, even late into thier shift. My and my sandwich maker... both like just meat cheese and sauce, we got a great kick out of that. Thankful for the few nice people still left in thisworld. Thank you Read more
