Love this place. It?s to bad it has made it throughout the states. This place has a lot of Hawaii?s local favorites. Which is... very delicious and tasty. With a lot of unique flavors and they have so many decadent desserts to choose from. The staff arevery friendly and hospitable. And has two areas you can dine in. The first would be a full service restaurant and the other islike a fast food diner. Both are very good and the prices are very reasonable. Also it?s located in the Prince Kuhio Plaza,but you can spot the entrance from one of the sides entrances. There?s lots of free parking and it?s near other stores and foodvenues. Read more

Good what feels like traditional Hawaiian food although I realize it's probably a chain. Almost has a Denny's feel to it, but... Hawaiian. Mia especially made us feel welcome and at home during our visit. Food was good as well Read more
My husband & I LOVE Zippy s...their employees have AWESOME customer service which is important in ANY customer service field... ???? Sometimes, you have to get there at specific days and times where you're NOT standing in a LONG line even though, they takedown your name, how many guests and your phone number so they can text you when your table's ready ???? The menu is prettydecent, they have specials that are different every day. My husband had the Beef Tomato and I had the Chicken Curry (which wasSUPER flavorful and DA BOMB!) Zippy's is one of the local people's main restaurants, it's been around for a long time! It's the only Zippy's on the Big Island, so if you want a great local institution, hit it up. The staff is very friendly and... you can get a wide variety of options. There's something for everyone, prices are fair and its a fun experience visiting. Itcan be busy, so make sure you reserve to keep anyone from getting hangry. Read more
Zippys is open for dining and they have excellent covid procedures. The host opens the door, and if there isn wait they take... down your cell and will text you when your table is ready. As is with many places, you sanitize your hands before entering. Notall tables are occupied intentionally. Menu is a piece of paper, not reusable menus like before. So no pretty pictures. Butthat's okay. Food is still 100% the same as before. Reliable, tasty and satisfying for a reasonable price and a smile. We hadwon ton noodle soup and saimin with a side of teriyaki beef and a mini loco moco. All good. Read more
The customer service and food was amazing! I've been craving non-fried fresh fish and finally found it. My husband enjoyed his... ham and cheese omelet. The waitress was super friendly and all the staff seemed happy to be there! We will be back! Read more
