A no frills casual giant burrito serving restaurant located minutes from Hilton Head/Coligny Beach Park. My wife and I stopped... here after a day at the beach. Located in a shopping center it was a little tough to find. Inside is small with no fullservice bar and orders are taken at the register. Happy hour is 4-6pm with half priced margaritas and free chips and salsa. Mywife ordered the fish tacos and a margarita, and I had the monster burrito and asked for the chips and salsa. My burrito waspacked with rice, beans, peppers, onions, black beans, sour cream, tomatoes, and a fair amount of steak. Everything was goodexcept the salsa. It reminded us both of the taste of spaghetti sauce. Overall we fairly happy for what we got for $25 andwalked away full. Read more
Was lots of food and edible so I gave 2 stars. Salsa was not good at all no seasoning. Steak tasted like it came out of a can.... Waitress was good but the guy behind the counter didn?t order our food correctly and was lazy. Read more
My wife and I were blown away having dinner here the other night. This is one of the best burritos I?ve ever had. The fact... that they serve an oyster burrito got my attention. We also had the happy hour margarita?s that were half off, great deal! Thestaff is amazingly quick to see if you need anything. They also wrapped up my wife?s salad for her. Absolutely fabulous dinner. We all got burritos and they are huge and delicious. We are on our way back home to VA today but... can't wait till we get home and eat our leftovers. The Margaritas were awesome and half price from 4-6.The staff was veryfriendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. We will be back! Read more
We visited Amigos Cafe Y Cantina during a weekday summer evening. We showed up a little before 5:00 and had the pick of almost... any table. By 6:00 the place was packed with people both indoors and at their outdoor seating. When we entered, we were invitedto sit anywhere as we read through the menu. When we were ready to order, we approached the counter to place our order, and thefood was delivered to our table a few minutes later. The food was good and the portions were generous. I ordered carnitas tacos, and the two soft corn tortillas were topped with a mountain of pulled pork with beans, onions, and cilantro. I enjoyedevery bite. Amigos Cafe Y Cantina is a good place to visit if you are hungry for some tasty Mexican food served in a casualsetting. Read more
