we got the baretta which was a hit (5/5), the cheese appetizer which was alright (4/5). the pork gnocchi was solid (4/5), the 4... cheese rigatoni was good (4/5), i forget the other 2 dishes we got but they were not great (both getting a 2.5/5). Food was very good, and portions too. They don’t have a published kids menu, so was surprised when I spent $14 on buttered... pasta at the end of the meal! But the real reason I am taking the time to review is that the hostess made us feel as though wewere an inconvenience since we didn’t have a reservation. We were seated outside when there were plenty of open tables (atthe beginning and end of our meal) inside. Amazing top quality food, fun engaging staff and great atmosphere. I had the daily special 8 oz sirloin steak with creamy smooth... mashed potatoes and mushrooms. It was melt in your mouth good, incredibly tasty. Several of my table mates had the Parmagianchicken which was also outstanding, tender and tasty and so big they could finish. Wow what a great place. Our first visit to Gusto was really good. I had a pear salad and my wife had a caesar salad. Both fresh and good. We both had... gnocchi osso bucco and it was delicious. Service was fast and attentive. Looking forward to another visit. Read more

Unfortunately had a very bad experience here. I can’t make this up, but it was a crazy bad experience despite reading great... reviews! First of all, the online menus are not accurate. I asked about a few dishes, but was told that those aren’t right.Waiter was very rude from the get-go. Almost made us feel like we were bothering him for even being there. I am never pickywith food, but when my pasta arrived it was so bland. I ordered it with chicken on it (thinking it would be grilled orpan-seared), but the chicken came out looking like it was boiled. My husband asked the waiter if I could order something else,and the waiter said he would have to ask for his manager. The waiter made it so awkward I had to go sit in our car, I didn’teven want to be in there. They bring out a more expensive dish (that we were charged for) and put it in a to-go box. When wefinally get home, I start to eat it and it was good— but after one bite I found a black hair in my shrimp scampi. I justcan’t eat a dish that has hair in it, especially during COVID. We ended up driving to Five Guys and I had a burger for dinner.Will not be returning to this restaurant. Read more

Our experience was absolutely fantastic. Ashley was a wonderful waitress. So pleasant and took great care of us. I had the... caprese salad and the veal piccata. My wife had the bolognese. To drink we had the Nebbiolo. Everything was exceptional. If Ihad room I would’ve ordered the profiteroles which are always a favorite. The owners and head chef are Italian so this isauthentic cuisine. Having honeymooned in Tuscany, I can say this is really top notch quality Italian dining. Would highlyrecommend.
