Had reservations for 7pm (party of 4), showed up and were seated. Just to order drinks took 15 minutes, when eating dinner and... asking for a simple extra basket of bread. I was told that I already have some in front of me ?.. never have I ever been spokento like that in regards to a simple request. Over all won?t be back , food was alright but pricey. Read more

What a lovely dining experience! Nice ambiance and super friendly bartender. Never knew this place was tucked away in moss creek... plaza. My friend and I split the bourbon bacon scallop appetizer which was amazing! Crispy bacon, great flavors! I then had aduck special entree and it was cooked perfectly, served with risotto and garlic spinach. Absolutely delicious. Even thehousemade bread and garlic dipping oil was outstanding and I?m not usually a fan of oils like that. Looking forward to tryingmore menu items at this hidden gem! Read more

First of all, I didn?t know this place existed among the many stores in this strip. And what a find! Delicious food! Great,... friendly service. Even the owner Alexis came out to check on our table! We had soft shell crabs, ribs, burgers, and Brusselsprouts (yummmm!). Will be returning to this hidden gem! Would recommend! Read more

I wasn't sure what to expect when I found this place on Google. It said it was a bar & looked pretty casual. Well, everything... here is pretty casual, of course, but I was pleasantly surprised when I was walking up the sidewalk and someone opened the doorfor me & politely welcomed me inside. The bar is front & center as you enter, but there is a nice dining area on the other sideof the room divider, if you don't care to be in the bar area. The lighting is very nice and so are the tables, although a littleclose together during these covid times. Unlike Dallas, there aren't masks everywhere, so go at your own risk - wear one ordon't seems to be the mentality in these parts. I sat at the bar & a young man attended me as the server & bartender. He wasvery nice, professional & knew the menu well. I chose the roasted oysters since I've never had them before. They were servedquickly with the best homemade bread ever! I enjoyed the oysters, maybe not as much as the raw, but it's good to try differentthings. I ordered a 'seasonal draft - I think it was a white wheat. Very nice. The owner stopped by a couple of times with anice friendly smile and asked how I was each time. They weren't real busy (it was a Wednesday night after all the Labor Dayvisitors had left), but busy enough that the attentiveness was definitely appreciated. I hope to return on my next visit and trysomething else new & delish! Read more

Hands down, my favorite place to eat in Bluffton. HogsHead perfectly balances the value to delicious ratio offering particularly... delicious food at very reasonable prices. Not a drinker, but I've been told by those in the know that the beverage selection isoutstanding. Their former bartender won the Hilton Head Island Wine Festival's bartender challenge, and they keep this traditionalive. Great for a work lunch, great for a dinner. Not the best place for children, though the owners are quite tolerant ofwell behaved children. It's not a night out with the family type of establishment, it's a drop in weekly and eat somethingdelicious for work, play, or with a loved one. Any fish special is general worth eating, duck is great, steaks are outstanding, ribs are piled high, and the skillets are home runs. For lunch, I like the salads, just about any, and the tuna sandwich. Duringthe right season, you can also generally enjoy live music and even an oyster roast or two. Read more
