This is one of my favorite pizza spots anywhere. It reminds me of the New York-style slices I used to get when I lived there.... This is our second time here. Last year we dined in and ordered pizza it was good. This time we also dined in. Very disappointed... in the chicken parmigiana that I ordered. The plate was huge and filled with pasta. Also very salty. The chicken was hard andnot good. My husband liked the Philly cheese he ordered. The meat was good however the bun a little doughy. Came to HH for vacation. My wife was determined to have NYC-style pizza. Went with this place. Pizza was really good in the end,... but a premium was paid. Ordering online could have been easier or at least clearer. Lots of topping options but everything is$2 or more. While picking up our pizza, a couple was ordering theirs and expressed some shock that two pizzas would cost $67. Iam with them?when I received ours, I was having a little sticker shock, too - $32 for a 16? pie. I must be getting old or atleast spoiled by less expensive places! Our favorite place back home has a similar option for $10 less. Anyway, the placelooked nice for dining in if you want, but calling in an order and picking up was easy enough. It's good and a really nice drink selection. Ask for extra crispy, the NYC style was a little soggy in the middle. I would... definitely come back. Our server and probably day manager was Jamese and she is a dynamic young person. Great customer serviceskills coupled with a wonderful personality. We stopped in for a late meal on a Monday night. It was really quiet with no other customer dining in. We ordered for appetizers... the fried calamari and Mama's homemade meatballs. Both were excellent and we finished them before I remembered to take pics. Wethen ordered a large the NYC speciality pizza knowing we were taking leftovers home. Late arrival for dinner after a long day at the beach. Our goal was Cajun yet a long line outside of restaurant led us to feed... the monkies pizza which was three minutes from Cajun place. As you enter the parking lot, you can view the place was slow andthat was good since the three Gremlins were HANGRY. The group entered and we were led to a small table by the hostess. I saw theempty booths and asked to be moved to the back. When I did this, the young hostess looked at me like I had stepped on her cat. Iwas pondering did I read a lot into her vexed look? Naw it's slow, approximately six tables with three servers so it's a slowevening. She sat us down and quickly departed to care for her injured cat. We waited...we waited..we took a nap and ten minuteslater the server arrived to take order. We asked for our drinks and just placed order for two pies and Calzone since it was lateand the monkies wanted to eat the napkins. After the order was placed, our server never returned until the first pie arrived 30minutes later. He brought the order at different times and by 35 minutes we were ready to eat. At that moment I explained toyoung man we had been ignored 10 minutes and meal thirty five minutes later. He made excuses that he had the table added and thepies took a while. There was a slight confrontation but he didn't take ownership of a lack of customer service. During the wait,my wife confirmed the vexed look by the hostess. The server continued to stay away after our talk, eventhough the restaurant waspractically empty. We noticed a man in shorts speaking with clients and we inferred it was management but instead of addressingthe sole customers, he chilled watching TV. I'm glad Bar Rescues Jon Taffer wasn't there to see the failure of management andcustomer service. Well the calzone was large and plain flavor. The dipping sauce was generic tasting. Ordered for delivery last night. EXCEPTIONAL Food! The chicken fingers were AMAZING, the NY-style pizza AMAZING, the Greek salad... fresh and YUMMY! All these were delivered sooner than expected.
