We came for the Customer Appreciation Day on Saturday. Fantastic Low Country Boil! We were surprised to see that more people... didn't take advantage of this FREE Event. The Chef/Manager was very personable & accomodating. Waitress ( Sharon ) was verynice. Before we left I tracked her down inside to give her a tip which she refused & said she was glad we came. This is the worst restaurant on the island. If I could give NO stars it would definitely get none! We have been coming here for... years and two years ago we had a similar experience but we chalked it up thinking it was a bad day. This time we ordered takeout and paid online. We made sure to check the bags prior to leaving the facility. We were missing half of our food and nosauces. They quickly made our food but when asked ?how do we tell the difference in sauces?? The smart bartender told us wedidn?t have all the sauces you requested online so we gave you whatever! Completely unacceptable. My husband was furious and hesaid well I want me $152 dollars back! He told him to call corporate guess what folks they are only open for another coupleweeks apparently they are not paying there taxes and wouldn?t you know ?corporate?s? number is disconnected! Rude employees,management, and a waste of space on the island. So word of advise don?t order online and don?t give this restaurant the time ofday! Not sure if this was just a bad day or whether this place is just a disappointment. As I entered the Wild Wing Cafe there was a... sign that said wings and fries only. I thought it was strange but since we were only looking for a couple of beers and somewings, I thought we could still give it a try. We sat down near the bar at a high top table and the bartender told us that therewas only wings and fries because there were short staffed. We sat down ordered our drinks and some wings and fries. A lot ofpeople walked in and left but we waited it out. It was strange because employees kept going outside to the back to therestaurant. Not sure what they did back there but they did not return carrying any supplies. It took over an hour to be served.It seemed very strange because how long can it take for wings and fries. The manager had spoken to a few people concerning theirsituation but never spoke to us. There are plenty of TVs and the place was pretty clean. I guess my best advice is to say makesure that they have people working before you decide to stay. Otherwise it will be a very long wait for some snacky food. Read more
Ordered curbside pickup tonight. Instructions on the email say to go to designated parking and someone will bring out your... order. When we arrived the signage was unclear and no one came out. I entered and was surprised at how quiet it was for aFriday night. In years past would be packed inside and on the patio. And we went prime dinner time. There was no one at thestation when I went in and finally a waitress appeared. I said to her it was confusing what to do with the curbside and she toldme "we don't really take them out to the car". On getting home our order was nowhere near what we asked for. Our Buff Chipswere just chips, no blue cheese or ranch. And we asked for all flats in our order but got a mix. Only got 3 blue cheese when thewebsite clearly states we'd get five. No celery either.The wings themselves were kind of cold, suggesting they were sittingthere for a quite a while before we arrived and we arrived when we were told to as per the website. Disappointed to see thatthis is a frequent occurrence. The wings overall tasted ok but again disappointing to get home and find out your order ismissing quite a few things. Fantastic experience. Great menu Concepts. Live entertainment was a huge added bonus. Really liked the wait staff, cook and host... staff. Efficient operation and handled substantial throughput. Worth a visit! Read more
Placed my order through uber. 60 to 70 minute wait. My drink was not with the order. I called and asked for a refund. But... instead the manager offered to bring my drink which I happily accepted. Sat down to eat. I ordered medium flavor with bluecheese no celery. I received a dry rub with ranch half empty and celery. Thank you to manager for bringing my drink but I thinkyou should retrain your team on how to properly read orders! $22 plus a $5 tip to my uber delivery. Read more
Sure to disappoint. We placed an online order and, after waiting the estimated 35 minutes, it was not ready. It was also not... ready in the ten minutes suggested by the staff. Or even the 15 minutes after that. No apologies were given, just insolence fromthe waitress. When we finally got the food our 30 wings were all the same flavor - plain. Definitely not what we ordered. Theonly ones with flavor were those that looked charred beyond belief. Plus they were like the throw backs, knuckles and feather.Pretty gross in the end. Came from out of state and stopped in to watch some football. Haley was so amazing. If she?s not the manager, it sure seemed... like she was. She was coordinating everything seamlessly.
