Casual BBQ dining with a 70's-80's decor spin. Their brisket is excellent and was prepared very quickly with no complaints - I... recommend their sandwiches as well! The employees are very social and quick to respond to requests. The bearded gent at theHinckley location is an excellent host, keeps great conversation. Ask him about wrestling if it suits your fancy. Keep it up! Read more

I've been coming to South Moon for years, though less often since they closed the Montgomery location. The Chuck Norris is a... sandwich with all the meats, and certainly one of my favorites. But, the ribs are incredible as well. The pork rinds nachos area unique combination that works wonderfully together. Don't forget the nitro sauce. And yes, is hot. Read more

My wife and I went to South Moon BBQ for lunch. My wife had the pulled pork sandwich (On a bun). I had "The Steve" sandwich. ... Mine was a multi-meat sandwich on a bun. We had an appetizer of pig skins, and sides of potato salad and Mac and cheese. Ipreviously noted that our sandwiches had buns, because I'm really not sure why buns were included with our meat. Both of oursandwiches had so much meat that eating our meals as sandwiches was almost humanly impossible, unless, of course, we wereprepared to make a giant mess on our hands, faces, and all over the table. We both chose to eat our meal with our forks, andforego the buns, altogether. Back to the meat: My meat plate was beyond delicious! My wife said hers was very good, too. Ithad just the right amount of juice (not grease; juice). My macaroni and cheese was okay, but not great. Our appatizer of pigskins was very good. The service and atmosphere were very good. This place is definitely a five star BBQ restaurant. We'll beback. Read more

Took an hour just to get our food. Sandwich was too hot to eat and the fries were cold. It was very busy with only 1 waitress.... No drink refills until we got our check. The barn tour was a thing this day, but she did tell us it was typical for the weekendto be that busy. Quite disappointed. Read more

We ordered the pulled pork sandwich ($6.95), brisket sandwich ($9.95), and Mac and cheese ($2.95). The brisket was really good... and was not as fatty as some others I?ve had. The portions were good, but sauces were mediocre. They have a really goodselection of alcoholic beverages and their customer service was great. The only let down was the Mac and Cheese. They didn?thave fried pickles due to supply issues, which is understandable, so we got the Mac and cheese instead. It didn?t taste like Macand cheese at all. It was more of a warm pasta salad with penne pasta, oil, meet, onion chunks, bbq sauce, and other ingredientsbut not sure if there was cheese. I wish it was advertised as such. Read more
