Cashier got my order wrong and had to wait to change it. When I open my box later it had fish in my box!!! Who takes fish out... and just puts the chicken in the same box?!?!! Since I was passing through I could not return the order. Highly disappointed oncustomer service and hygiene. Read more
The the first time we had the use of the coupon. Choosing a meal was easy two side orders, with big pieces of crispy fried... battered fish. Battered ochre, mozzarella sticks, and tartar sauce. Fish was not my first choice, but this menu change mymind That yesterday we returned to captain D again. We ordered mac & cheese coleslaw, fish and hush poppy We paid 8 to 9 dollarsfor two pieces of lunch with a debit card. On the intercom, we ask for a senior discount, and they told us they did not have asenior discount. One of our people did not order She wanted a white fish senior discount lunch. We inquired at the windowagain for we were given two different menu details. Now we learned that they had a senior discount every day, you must be 55years of age. For $8.00 we did not receive value for our money. The mac and cheese order was about 2 spoonfuls and it wasspilled we were still very hungry. They Don?t listen when you order! When I order baked potato when butter, they don?t give you butter! They asked ?Any sauce??,... butter is not a sauce! Butter was ordered when placing the order. I ordered a meal combination, with a side order of breadsticks. I went through the drive-thru to pick it up, and one young lady... was training another. The trainee was very friendly and pleasant -- which is always a plus. I eat out very rarely (LIKE MAYBEONCE A MONTH, IF AT ALL) so each time I come to Captain D's it HAS to be a real treat! I was so excited about getting the food,I didn't bother to even check my change or receipt; later after I got home, I noticed that I had been shorted one dollar in mychange. (To some, one dollar may be nothing, but to a single mother on a fixed income, it's EVERYTHING these days!) I calledthe store and the manager, Mark Cortez, was really understanding and gracious. He explained that the employee was new, and Iunderstood that. He told me that the next time I come, I could get a free appetizer to replace the shortage and inconvenience. I appreciate the acknowledgement, at least. I already am in love with the food, hands down! I have been a loyal customer toCaptain D's for over 30 years, and this kind of customer service makes the whole experience even more worthwhile. Somerestaurants you go to, the service may be lousy, but the food is just too good to stay away; so it's outstanding when you go toa place where the food is too good to stay away AND the service is nice and pleasant, too! They were patient and attentive. My Mom couldn?t decide on what she wanted while at the drive through so I went in to order .... the young lady that waited on me was polite .
