My first eating/ ordering experience here wasn't that good. I felt the need to go back and the food is a bit pricey, however... it's good ????. I Love their coleslaw. If I can give any advice, IT WOULD BE TO HAVE WORKERS WHO GET THE FOOD OUT THERE FRONTCASE AND COOK FOOD TO PLEASE WEAR GLOVES. I saw the young lady grab fish without Gloves. My husband and I ordered shrimp and fish from here and I swear we could have fed our whole neighborhood! The servings are huge.... The shrimp was so delicious. But, let me get to the star of the meal. The fish...I don't know what they use for breading, but Ithink it must have some Rainbow juice or something else as magical in it. I world eat a show if it were coated in that breading.For the record, the fries were great and the hush puppies were magnificent. But, if you go, please try that breading on thatfish! Read more
Really not happy , I bought 7lbs of snow crab plus the $25 tray with corn , potatoes, sausage and shrimp. Everything was... extremely over cook . The snow crabs was small plus the shells was extremely soft , in the other tray the potatoes was so softand the shrimp . The small tray was more of a mash potatoes tray . $175 not pleased.. the 3 orders of onion rings was ok Editafter reading the owner review: the oven was not on it was place in the oven until the table was set up . If you are looking for a non-chain, small town, South Georgia experience, you MUST try Phillip's Seafood! A small, but... extremely popular, eat in or takeout restaurant. Its the best place for fresh seafood. You can get it fresh/raw or cooked toorder. The selection is what's available from the daily catch, but includes tilapia, whiting, catfish, grouper, snapper,shrimp, crab, alligator, etc. Staff is friendly and very knowledgeable. Priced just right....definitely worth every dollar...clean and although it's a business that sells fish-I love the fact that it... doesn't smell like fish. I ALWAYS get the fish..grits I have also eaten the cold slaw..it's so so good that sometimes im afraidI will get a bone stuck in my throat, because I eat every bite..lol Read more
