We have been having dinner at the Square for years good for any occasion great waiting service great food

Well I must say our time at this beautiful restaurant was just wonderful from the start. There were 3 gals at the hostess/... check-in station but we were lucky enough to get Carol who was just THE NICEST GAL you could ask for. We arrived a bit early andthe bar was crowded so she went and got us martinis and brought them to us at a waiting area with comfy seating. We did not waitlong for our table which we had reservations for. Our server was a young handsome man named Nick… he too was spot on. Wellversed with the menu he was very helpful. All 4 of us ordered different entrees and all were quite delicious. We never orderdessert but the others in the party wanted one so we got the chocolate lava cake which was a spectacular sight to see.. AND OUTOF THIS WORLD! Got 4 spoons so we all had lots of bites. The sourdough bread is phenomenal. Loved spicy noodle entre, excellent cocktails. Coconut cream dessert has a surprisingly... light, shortbread cake like crust. Service was great. Read more

We love Square Cafe whether in need of a quick bite or planning a cozy romantic dinner ???? The hosts have magical energy which... I admire and enjoy every time we come there. The outdoor sitting area has heaters which is very nice in a colder season. Pleasemention that you’d like to be seated under a heater if you call to book a table since they have tables outside that arefurther away from heaters. The food is great! I have had a beets salad, tuna tartar, a burger (on the picture), mussels etc -all great options. My child’s favorite is chicken nuggets (on the picture). Read more

Our meals were very good with a depth of flavor. We especially liked the brussel sprouts for an appetizer. Portions were also... very generous and neither of us were able to finish our entrees, after splitting the one appetizer, without pushing ourselves toan uncomfortable point. Read more

Incredible food and service. Great seafood offerings. The server was more than helpful regarding vegan options and took a lot of... initiative to discover more where the menu may not have been so obvious. Definitely returning. Square Cafe is one of my very favorite restaurants that I have been coming to for years. Whether it’s a special occasion or a... nice dinner with family/friends, the service and food are fantastic. Some favorites of mine are the Thai mussels, chili noodles,yellowfin tuna, and salmon. The bread pudding is also to die for! Read more
