I got the special blend (I think) and it was so smooth and delicious! They packaged our snacks so nicely so that we could take... them to the park for a nice outdoor lunch. The peanut butter marshmallow square are yummy too! Read more
Got some breakfast bagels to go. Unfortunately was expecting them to be a bit more flavorful, but they were definitely filling.... The coffee was ok! They serve the coffee with a chocolate covered coffee bean which was yummy. Really appreciated all of thelocal artists items in the cafe, lots of goodies (pottery, children's books illustrated by artists, etc). Read more
Love The Old Grind! The food tastes like homemade food when you?re away from home! I particularly like the baked goods. My... favourite is the raspberry white chocolate scones. I read in a previous review that the scones looked like they had mould onthem?lol?that?s just a sign of the real raspberries they use! They are freshly baked and delicious! I also love their soups!I?ll be sure to stop into The Old Grind when I?m in Hinton again! Read more
Love this coffee shop! We've been here quite a few times and have never been disappointed. They put a great effort into... everything they do! For example I ordered a breakfast bagel with bacon. Most places offer a slice of bacon cut into 3 pieces. Not here, they piled it on but not too much. Prices are reasonable given the quality. This place is a staple for us. The scrambled eggs were tasty and very good value. The vegetarian quiche was excellent and the service was excellent. Chilled... atmosphere. Glad we found this excellent cafe away from the touristy places of Jasper. Definitely recommend! Read more
This was a great find! Fast Wifi! We are on the road and homeschooling our kids and always looking for a local business to... support. The cafe has lots of space with many tables, local artist work for sale and other confectioneries. Staff were allsuper friendly and the coffee and food tasted great - their cinnamon bonus were sooooo delicious! Almost took the rest to go;0) Cafe and facilities were very clean and well managed. They were quick to fill up the soap dispenser when I advised it wasempty. Service was a bit slow but it was busy and they were doing the best we could. Read more
Went for breakfast, our first time there. Had a ham and egg breakfast wrap, which and so yummy. Also ordered a sugar free... vanilla latte over ice and that too was very good. Read more
