My boyfriend and I came by today and got a to go order. Our strombolis were undercooked. You could see raw dough when you cut... into it. I ordered mine with green bell peppers and noticed they tasted bitter, not fresh. We also got fried raviolis and cheesesticks they were flavorless and obviously frozen. While waiting on our food my boyfriend ordered one of his favorite beers andhe said it tasted old and flat. I heard that this location has not 1 but 3 new owners(who cooked our food by the way). I hate tosay it because I used to love this restaurant but it seems to me they are going to put it in the ground if they don't step uptheir game. Read more
I placed an order at the Journey's New York Style Pizzeria & Restaurant for a medium pizza & grilled Chicken Stromboli. I... advised the order taker that I do not eat pork, so I just want a Chicken Stromboli. I received a pizza pie that was hard as acardboard, and a Stromboli, which had pepperoni in it. Also the pizza is definitely not NY style pizza. When I contacted therestaurant so I could get a refund for the Stromboli, I was told that I needed to return the Stromboli to the pizzeria and thenthey would refund me. First impressions, we walked in and the restaurant was filthy, our table looked like it had dried up soda on it, it was sticky... and looked like it hadn?t been cleaned in a day or two. The blonde haired waitress was sluggish and didn?t check on my table forclose to 20 minutes, once she finally came to the table she was very unfriendly and unwelcoming, it made me and my friends feelextremely uncomfortable. This was my first time eating at a Johnny's and well it may be my last. The one thing that gets my goat is a restaurant that... nickel and dimes you to death. If you're going to charge so much for a pizza something like extra sauce and a ranch dressingshouldnt cost me extra. $1.00 for the extra sauce and $.69 each for the ranch dressing. Kind of shocked they didnt charge forrefills on the drinks. The pizza was good but for the cost I could have gotten it somewhere else without all the extra costs.With so many other places out there for pizza and with their prices it was a no wonder why they weren't busy. Okay. After seeing the recent reviews, i went and tried Johnny's Pizza myself. Okay you had to seat yourself which kinda took... some time for the waitress to start our order. We order a couple of different items to see what they had to offer. Now, the waittime is long. This would gave it a 4 star But they cook everything fresh so the wait time was long but worth it. The food washot and fresh. I could stop eating. My wife had the buffalo sandwich and fries. That alone was wonderful. And we had a slice ofpizza and tried the Lasagna with garlic bread. Awesome. Leftovers the next day was still good. So now back to a 5 star. Greatplace to check out if you haven't. We will come back again. Thank you. Read more
Very quite around 7pm ,Tried the wings good flavor but they seem to boil the wings instead of frying them Maybe healthy choice... for their customers but not for me . Pizza was good we had the Johnny's specialty ,Sad they don't offer stuff crust becausethat would had been the best pizza. The sweet tea is home brewing which I like and my husband had a Corona from their bar.Overall would return very Family oriented. Read more
