I?ve been patronizing Shrimps since they opened. This weekend, we had a family filled event and needed pans of wings and fish.... Not only was our order hot and ready upon arrival, but the worker was generous enough to help get the food to the car. We neededmore fish and chicken later in the evening when more family showed and ordered a second batch. Omg I'm in shock. I ordered from here a few months ago and it was so good. What happen tonight was complete opposite. My ocean... perch was so dried out from being over cooked that even tarter sauce couldn't help. Then the chicken wings tasted more like fishthan chicken. Honestly I think someone fried the chicken wings in fish grease. My son loves chicken wings, but even with themcovered in ranch dressing he wouldn't eat them. So I tried them, that's when I noticed the fish taste and the heavy salting. Well I'll be looking for a new place to eat. No way I'm spending $30 on a meal that I wouldn't feed to a dog. Went in to order a piece of cake, lady on the register had a terrible attitude because I asked for a piece of cake in the glass.... I said thank you three times. She never responded then said said ?yeah? under her breath when I thanked her the third time. Iwent to explain to her that I wanted a certain piece because the last slice of cake was dry. I ordered from this place about 2 years ago to the date for a surprise 70th birthday party.. . I had a wide variety of people to... please- from children to elderly. . Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. All the guests loved the food!!!! Everyonetook to go plates!!! We got 25 of the lunch specials - a tray of catfish nugget etc. We also got trays of coleslaw - fries etc.It was a huge hit.... So, needless to say I was thrilled to see they are still open!! Ordered 60$ worth of food for pick up drove home to find out I only had sides no chicken!!! Return for my chicken that I asked... for extra crispy with extra extra lemon pepper and nope you can barely even see lemon pepper!!! Totally a waste of time andmoney wanted to try instead of jj fish on melton rd but I?ll be sticking with jj fish because they have horrible service andthey were not busy at the time at all I was only customer!
