Overpriced food. Rarely fresh. Owner has an attitude and very unprofessional.

The sandwich was ok - not bad but definitely not the best in Hoboken. The guy behind the counter didn?t seem like he cared to... work there. The place was completely empty (it was around 4-4:30pm) but it took him a few minutes before he started making mysandwich. And when it was time to pay he decided to charge extra from what it was advertised on the menu board even though Ipaid cash. Not coming back. Read more

Loved this deli. The guy behind the counter was super nice and friendly, he really made us feel welcome. There were a ton of... locals coming in and out, which is always a good sign! I got the Johnny sandwich and it was amazing. It was roast beef, freshmozzarella and Gravy ????. I?ve never had a sandwich with gravy but it was fantastic!! I would highly recommend this place toanybody that wants to experience a real Italian deli. Read more

If you look up "hidden gem" in the dictionary, Luca Brasi's Hoboken should be the first thing to come up. AWESOME selection of... breakfast, hot food, deli meats, and prepared foods. They have one of the best bolognese/meat sauces I've ever had in my life. Also, their prosciutto sandwiches come with a MOUNTAIN of meat. Read more

The food is incredible, and it looks great to boot. Prices are very high, definitely a tourist trap. Beware of this, only... order like 1 thing. Read more

Atmosphere draws you in, food makes you come back! Try the "Big Petey Sandwich"! Or the "Fuggeda Boutit Italian Super"! What... a cute little deli store! There's old school Italian movie posters and pictures on the entry wall. Came in and asked the guyfor a recommendation. I was not disappointed. The simple Turkey sandwich with roasted peppers of the "Big Petey" is made withsuch flavorful slices that melt in your mouth and with the roasted pepper and arugula... Droooool. Its loaded with meat andthe house made mozzarella was smooth (kind of blended in, but added a touch of sweet to the sammich). I was only planning oneating half but I'm looking at the other half right now with lustful eyes... Ask for a serving of banana peppers to go withyour sammich. I don't recommend mixing them in but munching in 1 or 2 in between bites to change the palette. Read more
