Food was delicious. I ordered the Deckle steak and my friend the scallops. Steak came out rare going on medium rare which is a... little cooler than I normally have it, but the taste and juice were outstanding. Scallops were perfect, hands down the bestI’ve tasted. Cheese board appetizer was good, but a bit pricey for not having any meats associated with it. Desserts wereout of this world good. Wine was decadent. Atmosphere felt a little loud (we were sitting downstairs with three otherparities). Overall time from seating to leaving was 2.5 hours for a party of 2, which felt on the slower side for service. We put the House of WM to the test and ordered takeout to celebrate a special occasion and our expectations were blown away. For... it to be one of the best meals we’ve ever had and for it to be takeout was truly remarkable. Bravo to the House for puttingtheir money where their mouth is and delivering exceptional food under less than ideal circumstances. We ordered the Decklewhich is one of a kind steak on a higher level than anything around in my recent memory and I’ve lived in the area for 35years. The scallops were hands down the best scallops Ive ever had. The cheeseboard and the raw seafood salad were beyondspecial. I consider myself a foody, I eat at every good restaurant I can find. It’s so hard to get good food, especially goodtakeout, these days. We are so thankful to the House of WM for helping us celebrate at home. I’m definitely going back to trythe rest of the summer menu before it’s gone. Read more

5 stars for the food, 3 for the service, 1-2 for the price. FOOD was absolutely amazing and it is what keeps us coming back.... Gourmet to the extreme with complex flavors, every bite is a symphony. And it is sheer artistry with the plating. The Manhattanwas spot on perfection. Foie gras abounds (3 of the 5 main dishes included it in some form or fashion) so if you like it, you'rein for a treat. If not, you will be hard pressed to find something on the menu. During COVID, the menu has shrunk considerablywhich is understandable and what restaurants need to do to survive. I love this small corner restaurant and want our local smallbusiness to thrive but I wish it were not becoming so inaccessibly expensive. $30 for a (very small) appetizer and nearly $50for an entree? I realize COVID but still, that is ridiculous. Perhaps start offering a wider range of food at a wider range ofprice points. Also, part of the enjoyable experience of going to a fancy restaurant is to hear them describe the food with allthe exotic culinary terms. Our waiter just asked "do you have any questions about the menu?" Timing of the service was finewithout rushing but pretty blah with no recommendations or discussion from the waiter. Went here on 12/22/2021 and was pleasantly surprised. I loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The food was superb !!!! My party... had the rabbit, pork, and duck dishes.They were all extremely well prepared. My only complaint was the pork being slightlydry.Other than that 10s all around. Read more

Food was outstanding! Enough to leave me remembering each dish (house cheese board, three cheese gnudi, steak, and some fun... desserts) and the service was even better. Our waiter was very sweet and personable. The atmosphere was awful for my husband andI though. We were sitting downstairs, and there were only two other parties seated, but it was SO loud. With it being hardwoodfloors, wooden ceiling, and a mirrored wall, it just created the perfect acoustics to amplify everyone's conversation- but somuch so that my husband and I could hardly hear each other even though being only 2 feet apart. With it being such a smallspace, there definitely could be some changes to the decor to soften the sound a bit. (Pillows, curtains, fabric, etc) I lovethe restaurant and want to come back but not if I can't enjoy the experience with my loved ones. Read more
