The parking was overwhelming crowded we circled the block twice before we found anything. The owners were nice, though it gave... the feeling of a 1920's small town southern diner. Everyone seemed to know each other and were mostly regulars, yet my skin wastoo dark for their liking. No one said anything to us but it made for a very uncomfortable atmosphere. Found this place on Google maps. I was searching for a restaurant between my two aunts. One lives in Mokena and the other by... Midway airport. We have not seen each other in thirty years. I pulled up the reviews on this place and honestly it was the picof the burger that caught my eye. So I picked this place to meet at and the food was great. I had the chopped chicken salad. We were in town visiting family and they took us to Buck's... so glad that they did. The food was incredible! Within our group,... some had Prime Rib, others had Ribs, my wife had the Walleye, and I had the pork chops. Each person raved about their meal! Even the green beans were amazing! While the food was absolutely worth returning for, the service was impeccable. 'Santa' wasour server and she was attentive and great fun. Do yourself a favor and get over to Buck's.
