I just found out about this place, so I was excited to try again. I ordered online however I noticed that I was being charged... the full price when it was suppose to be "happy hour" half off smoothies from 7-10. I called the store to question the price andassociate there did not know why I was being charged full price. Once I arrived I ask him if we can cancel while I am here andthen re-order while i am in the store, so that i can get the happy hour price. He did not know how to do that either. Then hesays and we dont have any bananas to add to the smoothie. I was upset at this point because the associate did not have any ideahow to help me the customer service and i was stuck paying full price for a smoothie that was suppose to be half off AND thesmoothie was nasty which i explain to him and he just look and stared like OH Well. First off, I would like to say this place is completely renewed.I don?t mean the physical facility, but the staff is amazing.... They created an amazing atmosphere and now I feel welcome here and I come way more often now. The way you are treated, how fastyour food and drinks are is completely amazing and breathetaking.I am never going to any other Tropical Smoothie. I see a lot of negativity about this place and I'm pretty surprised to hear it. I've been multiple times and both the... smoothies/food and staff have been wonderful. Specifically my last visit, I had ordered a smoothie and changed my mind on whichflavor I wanted.... they ended up making me another smoothie to try on the house and it made my day. UPDATE AGAIN: just now the lady called me to try and say none of that happened! Saying no one hung up on me even though I heard... the click while I was in the middle of speaking and line went dead... Telling me it was the delivery drivers fault saying hedidn't pick it up even though they forgot to make the food? (And I know he didn't because I asked him about it when he droppedit off and he said he asked them about it in store and they told him they didn't have anything) And when I tried to question herabout it she hung up on me again!!! Absolutely 0 stars.. in fact -5 stars. UPDATE: I tried calling back one more time.. ladyanswers and says "you're food is missing, we'll give the money back." And I asked "for the whole order? Or just the food?" Andthen she immediately hung up on me again and wouldn't answer when I called back to try and clarify.. I refuse to give this storeany more money and I hope her and that entire team is fired because that was beyond disgusting behavior. I love coming here everytime I visit my family and getting a smoothie and some food, but the other day when I came here and I... found a hair in my sandwich. I love tropical smoothie and have been going for years however my last visit was awful. The workers we?re doing their jobs and... the manager Ashley or Ashleigh (however it?s spelled) seemed to have a bitter face the whole time. She made many snarky commentsand put a sour taste in my mouth. I feel really bad for those employees especially because I work in fast food and have neverexperienced a nasty manager.
