We were seated for our 6:30pm reservation immediately and provided warm bread with oil and Parmesan cheese. Our drink order was... taken and the service was impeccable all night. I ordered gnocchi with chicken and spinach in vodka sauce. My husband orderedchicken parmigiana. Our appetizer was the fried calamari. The calamari was cooked perfectly and melted in your mouth. It arrivedat the table immediately from the fryer. Soup and salad followed and then the entrees. The portions were huge! This was oursecond visit but our first on a Friday evening. The place was packed. The chef made appearances in the dining room checking onspecial requests to ensure they were to the diners’ expectations. We didn’t know there was entertainment this evening whichwas filled with old school Italian favorites. Our previous visit was midweek and we had grilled calamari, chicken saltimboccaand chicken Francese. The food was amazing thus our return last evening. This place is worth a visit. Read more
This is my new favorite restaurant in the area. Everything is made to order. The wait staff is passionate about the food and you... are truly treated like family. The food is high quality. I can't say enough about this place, absolutely love it! We had such a great time on our first visit that we came back the very... next night. The food is excellent. I haven't seen such a hard working staff in a long time. The singer was also off the chart!She had a great voice. She had the whole house in love with her...she sang happy birthday to three of the guests including oneat our table. They topped off the night for us with homemade lemon cello. My only regret is that we had to head back home but wewill be back in the area this summer and we will definitely come to dine here again. That you for making such a special nightfor our group. Friday night, date night! I had a taste for Italian. Wanted to try someplace new! Also wanted to try somewhere that was not a... corporate chain. Found this place on Yelp and decided to give it a try. SO HAPPY WE DID! This family owned gem is hidden awayin a strip mall. Don't let that deter you. The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted by (we found out later) theco-owner. He promptly sat us and gave us menus, specials, and a wine/cocktail list. Our server, Char, was professional andvery proud of and knowledgeable about the menu. My husband started with a manhattan and we had a bottle of wine withdinner. As soon as we see veal saltimbocca on the menu, one of us will be getting it. Always. And my husband did. And it wasthe most delicious veal saltimbocca we have ever tasted! Pounded perfectly thin, just enough prosciutto and cheese. The saucewas tangy and salty, but not too salty. I made yum noises the entire time. Served over perfectly al dente angel hairpasta. Although I should have just ordered that for myself as well (and next time I will) I decided to get a "create your ownpasta" dish. Choosing was difficult, but after tasting my finished dish, I know I could order many more "creations" and be veryhappy. I chose a homemade fettuccine with a marinara, kalamata olive, anchovy sauce. I decided to add sliced Italian sausageand capers to it. DELICIOUS! For dessert I had to try the homemade tiramisu made that morning. Simply, perfectly soaked ladyfingers and creamy delicious marscapone with just enough cocoa sprinkled over the top. As we were eating dessert a cart wasbrought to another table where he prepared bananas foster en flambe tableside. It looked incredible! (I wish I likedbananas) They did have two singers there that evening. They had lovely voices, but were simply singing along to karaoketracks. Very good food and service. my mother and i were super upset tonight when our food leaked from the bag it was placed in, and the... bag broke to which our food fell in my parking lot. DiBendetto was nice enough to remake our food for us and it was absolutelyLOVELY. had the chicken piccata, and another chicken dish and it was just absolutely delicious. i understand that the paper bagbreaking was not their fault which is the reason for the good review. they were incredibly kind when we explained the situation,and made us all new food. thank you so much for the great service, and we will absolutely be back again! This is the best Italian restaurant and I will not eat pasta anywhere else. Excellent food and friendly service. Herman, Nate,... and Charlene are our usual servers and are the best! Everything on the menu is great and the specials are truly somethingspecial. The prices may seem high but you get high quality food in very generous portions and it is worth every penny. I wishmore people knew about this restaurant because it is a great experience and they deserve your business. Read more
