There no negative stars so I gave a 1. Just moved to the local area and tried this place for the first time. Baby back ribs,... baked beans, and potato salad. Was the worst BBQ I've ever had. Meat was overcooked and had ZERO seasoning. With beans warmedstraight from a can and mustard based potato salad that tasted more like a dessert, I ended up tossing it all in the trash. Roger's BBQ is a hidden gem, nice to see a place with a real pit, not a gas-fired oven with a log burner. Stopped in on my way... through, had the chicken plate and got a pulled pork sandwich for the road. Not a downfall, but if you're not a big fan of sauceask them to leave it on the side. Collards were absolutely amazing. Wait staff was pleasant and service was great. Big shoutout to Mr. Tyler in the kitchen making it happen today, you sir do some great work. Read more
Nice venue, located in the food capital of Hogansville. Staff was very friendly. Food wasn?t the best barbecue but can be a nice... meal if you?re hungry and in the area. The gazebo out front is a nice touch. Hopefully they will keep it maintained and lookingbeautiful for years to come! Read more

It's a fine BBQ sandwich, far from the best, but far from the worst. The Brunswick stew was unlike any I've ever had before,... which isn't necessarily a bad thing, but while it did have the taste of a Brunswick stew the texture was just off putting to me.Sweet tea was fresh and very sweet! The dining area and bathroom were both very clean and the service was friendly andattentive. I'd certainly eat here again if I lived anywhere near it. Read more
Not too bad, the smell is amazing when you walk in and the bbq I would rather have the sauce on the side personally. But good... food and friendly staff. I also like to see the brick oven in the back. Wish I had a bun for the bbq pork, but small gripe. Read more
No issues here. Little hard to spot from the road. Brisket was great and so was the BBQ sauce. Homemade coleslaw was excellent.
OMG some of the best BBQ I ever had. I got a full rack of ribs they were tender and the sauce was great the BBQ beans I had to... get another serving lol they were so fire ???? atmosphere was country and people were professional & courteous. ???? Read more
