First visit tonight after hearing how good the food was. The food was good but I literally only had 6 small onion rings. The... service wasn?t great. The staff that I witnessed Interacting weren?t friendly at all. An elderly man came in right at 8pm andthey refused to serve him. There was a big party that hadn?t got their food so I didn?t see the problem with them fixing himsomething. He looked confused and upset when he left. That incident turned me off to revisiting. Holy Heaven, a must have. I've traveled the world & no joke some of the best steak I've ever had. Cooked & seasoned perfectly.... Wow very impressed. This place blew any expectations I had for it. Out of towner! Would come back just for this food! Read more
The pork chops were amazing. To seal the deal a homemade ranch dressing on the salad would have been the makings of the best... review I have made in a long time. It's still stellar, so keep it up. I love the High Forest!!! Read more
It is under new ownership. I had the shrimp scampi. They cooked the shrimp perfectly. The shrimp were smaller than they used to... be. The shrimp were supposed to be on a bed of long grain and wild rice. There was maybe a spoonful. They serve a small loafdark bread with butter on the side to eat while waiting on your meal. This used to come as a whole small loaf and very warm. Itwas cut into slices and cold tonight. Service was very good and the price was reasonable. Read more
These guys have great food. Our waitress was super friendly, informative, and helpful. Prices are reasonable but the portions... were rather small and for some odd reason it took 45 minutes to get our food. I'd love to try this again though to get a feelfor what is normal. Read more
I book the room for surprise graduation party for my oldest this past Saturday. The waiter was awesome! He join in the club with... my entire family where we have game of Cooties ???????????? if you haven?t been involved with my family then you wouldn?tunderstand the game lol! I've only been here twice, but both times the food was wonderful. Junkyard Dog starts you off with a wonderfully textured bread... while you wait for your entree. I went with the pulled pork this time and was impressed. Everything is reasonably priced aswell. The service was expedient and the server was friendly. I will be back (hopefully soon) to enjoy another delicious meal. Read more
This was my first visit, though my lady friend has been there a number of times before. We ordered onion rings, Cajun pasta, and... a steak sandwich. The service and the attention we got was great. My steak sandwich was good.. The Cajun pasta was my friendsfavorite dish on past visits, but tonight she returned the dish. The Cajun pasta came with steak bits which tasted like leatherand the pasta was pasty. The onion rings were too well formed and were disappointing which was made worse by plastic packets ofsweet ketchup. Only Heinz ketchup could have made them taste better. This is unfortunate because the restaurant has so muchcharacter and the service was great. Read more
