Good stop for those necessary rest stop brakes. Nice store, good service by the lead cashier, and lots of stuff to think; oh I... need one of those things! This stop included a fuel fill; gas costs are getting to be not fun, $4:00 a gallon +. Poor truckershave certainly added to their traveling costs, which naturally comes down to us folks!! Read more
As usual, Popeyes is a good place to eat fried chicken. The fried chicken is up to Popeyes standard - delicious and... crispy. Service is friendly and helpful, despite the busyness of the restaurant. Despite lots of people ordering, my order cameout fast, and the staff remains courteous and not seem to be rushing. Easy access from/to the Interstate, whether you are goingwest or east. The place was filthy. Most of the condiments area needed stocked and almost all of the tables needed cleaned. Meanwhile 3... people stood there behind the counter just talking. I realize it was only about an hour before closing time, but all of our foodwas not warm at all. Read more
