Place is legit. Been dying for a decent creamy ala vodka sauce, seems nobody on long Island knows how to do it right except... vincents clam bar. Anyway the sauce was on the money and great price! I got the chicken franchaise combo with a giant meatball.It was so good. The other dinner I got was a small Mac n cheese with meatloaf. Wow it had a lot of "taste". Not bland or blah.The tiramisu was excellent. Brownie a little cake. I like em gooey. But all very good. And I didn't have to wait it's allcatered. Read more
this place is so nasty. they reuse the food from catering and send it to the deli to make 12 different things. they relabel the... expired stuff. they don't clean between ANYTHING (mildew). after working there I refuse to eat there and tell everyone thesame. they made us wipe the MOLD off the sausages and put them back. made me so sick I just went home and never came back. I have been going to this market for years I have to say there's a gentleman that works there. He goes above and beyond. I know... hes new. He works behind the deli counter and he goes above beyond. He always is polite and always has a smile on his face. horrible experience!!! i ordered grilled vegetable platter and 3 vegetables that was on the website was not on the tray!! they... said they didn't have carrots, asparagus, and fennel so they didn't put it in. it cost $50 for a tray that only had peppers andzucchini. also the eggplant parm was so dry hardly any sauce in between the layers. i am so disappointed money thrown out thewindow. how can the website say a tray of food and make up their own tray because they felt like it. don't go there. i amgiving them 1 point because i have to give it. Very nice market and outdoor seating area for a quick bite. Had a cappuccino and sfogliatelle while out on the road running... errands... I have always passed by but this was the first time stopping in. Cappuccino was pretty good and the pastry wasn't badeither... I'd go back. Playing some Italian music over speakers outside and some fountains would probably do wonders for thisplace... Maybe some Italian ices and gelato also! Read more
They have everything Italian you could ever want. It's a market and a place to get homemade meals. The premade foods - from... paninis, lasagna, croquettes, hoagies, macaroni salad- it'll satisfy everyone's pallete. There's a coffee bar and dessert areaalso, so don't fill up too much!
