Three stars for the lovely lady jockeying drinks, which are pricey for a dive bar. Patrons here were about my age (younger than... ninety), but no real conversations developed. I gave it a shot, but conversation with loud bands playing is excrutiatinglydifficult. Sign language is essential for picking up deaf women unless one uses tactile sensation. Perhaps I am too old for barsand need something a bit more sedate and intellectual/high on the snobbish scale. I will stick with the grand piano lounges inManhattan where wearing a suit won't precipitate wisecracks, thoughts of undercover cops, and condescension. Hit GoogleTranslate for the last sentence????. The Place was Nice,the female barmaid was extremely friendly!! The Male bartender wasn't so to friendly,which I found out was... the owner later on. I was there to see a band The Knottie Boys,and would have stayed,But with unpleasant service,Who wants tostay in a Bar like that?!?!?! Read more
Great live music. Bar staff is friendly and attentive. Bar food is always delicious. Can be crowded on live music nights,... otherwise, nice place to have a drink and relax. Owner is very friendly as well. He always makes it a point to sit with us andchit chat. Read more
I love this venue it is so local it's great you can catch a good show here most days of the week different genres but all local... music and a lot of times they don't charge admission which is how it should be because then you can spend that money that theywould have charged you on admission on drinks if that's what you're into. Also they have pretty decent food on the menu youshould check it out sometime Read more
Cool spot to enjoy local long Island bands. It's small but not tiny. I don't really drink but those chicken tenders though the... portion was small , were really good. Like grandma's cooking. Came here to see a friend's band play live & she was great. Theydon't serve coffee here. I like to think that I made some life long friends from hanging out at this pub. Will be back in thefuture I'm sure! Read more
