My husband and stayed there for a few nights for our anniversary. Our room was the Eagles nest. This a cute B&B that's tucked... away near Squam Lake. The atmosphere was relaxing, the hospitality was incredible, each morning we were greeted with smiles andthe showed interest in our days activities.Their breakfasts were amazing. We did not have our dinners at inn, but they smelleddelicious. I would highly recommend for anyone looking for a nice getaway. Read more
The location of the Inn was ideal for our mini-getaway. We wanted to revisit many of the local attractions and Squam Lake where... we honeymooned 40 years ago. Our room was cozy and breakfasts were the perfect start to each day. Molly, Sarah and staff wereall very eager to help in getting us settled, pointing us in the right direction and making dining recommendations while we wereout touring around. The highlight at the Inn was dinner at its Inn Kitchen + Bar where we were greeted with a complimentaryglass of bubbly to celebrate our anniversary. This is the best inn I have ever traveled to. Year after year, this inn excels with unique and clean accommodations, exquisite... food for breakfast and dinner, and above all, the kindest and friendliest staff I have ever encountered. Everyone is alwayseager to help and aid during the stay to make the getaway the best it can be. Shout out to Manager, Sarah. She was always aroundwith a smile, quick chat, and making sure our stay and restaurant experience was special. We were so happy to see her again andstill front of house. Squam Lake Inn is a delight. The inn and the rooms are cozy, warm and inviting. Their modest restaurant is the same, and the... breakfast (that comes with your stay) is gourmet, while using fresh and simple ingredients. The staff is friendly andaccommodating, doing all they can to make your stay the most comfortable that it can be. The wrap-around porch is perfect for anearly morning coffee or an evening cocktail. This was a beautiful Bed and Breakfast Inn. It was so quaint and felt like we were home. The rooms were very clean, the bed was... so comfortable. They served a delicious breakfast in the morning. Everything about the Inn, the staff, and the food was perfect. My wife and I stayed there recently for our wedding anniversary.... The Inn is a spotless, well maintained establishment with charming, antique décor. The food is fantastic. Funny story: We hadlunch at another restaurant when we first came to town. While there, we asked the server for a good dinner recommendation andinstead of nominating her work place, she recommended the restaurant at the Inn. The gourmet breakfast is included and a greatreason to get out of bed. But the best part of the Inn is the staff and owners. They couldn't be nicer and always make everyonefeel like they are family. My wife, a former hotel manager, noticed every detail, every extra effort, and happily told the ownerwhat a great staff he employed. Brendan the owner recommended kayaking on nearby Squam Lake, even providing directions to alaunching site. When most people are quick to complain, it is nice to provide nothing but compliments for a fantasticexperience. Read more
This is our new favorite B&B! The room (Eagle’s Nest) was perfect, cozy, and nicely decorated. The breakfast was amazing and... the staff was great! They were helpful and friendly without getting in the way. Brendan recommend a local hike that was justwhat we were looking for. We celebrated our 20th anniversary here and hope to come back for more! My only regret was that weweren’t able to try the restaurant for dinner since it wasn’t open for the season yet. Read more
Wonderful place to stay, my husband I went for our anniversary. The Inn itself is quaint and warm, hospitality was wonderful!... The room we stayed in was very nice, comfortable, and exceptionally clean. Anything we needed was at our fingertips, and thefood was excellent!
