I?m not usually one to complain but the bagels I got this morning were not good at all. I got 2 Asiago bagels toasted with plain... cream cheese and salsa cream cheese. The bagels themselves were over done and had hardly no Asiago cheese on them. Then with thecream cheese there was hardly enough to even cover the whole bagel. Decent food. Slowest service in Holland. Walked in at 10:50. Ordered two bagels. Got them at 11:18
I bought bagels here in October 2021 and tbey were old and stale. Since it has been 9 months, I decided gjve them a second... chance today. This time, 2 of the 3 bagels were burned. The third wasn't burned, but it was overcooked and dry. They shouldnot be selling burned baked goods! I won't be going back. Read more
I go here to treat myself (and wife ????) to their Lox & Cream Cheese Bagel, usually either Saturday or Sunday morning. Staff is... always courteous and friendly, if you dine in you have a choice of neat cozy booths, or sit in nice comfortable lounge likechairs arranged near a gas fireplace or if you have more in your group table sitting. If you're an early riser like myself theiropen at 5am. My only con I have is they get really crowded but it's hard say that's a con because like everyone else I patientlywait for my order because less face facts if your establishment gets crowded it means 3 things: food is good, under staffed foodis good, overwhelmed food is good ????. Well I?ve never had a problem with Big Apple before and today my order was messed up and had to pay for another bagel which... wasn?t an issue I wasn?t upset I didn?t think I was rude in asking if She only charged me for one I get we wear masks and it?shard to hear but this is my problem I know they have to see the bagel as they put cream cheese on it this was beyond burnt sadbecause I drive 23 minutes to get there I don?t mind waiting either but this today was unacceptable when we I know they are busybut giving someone a burnt bagel is just sad but I?ll continue to go but only to the south Washington one! This has been one of my favorite places since I was a kid. Love the bagels and cream cheese. The breakfast sandwiches are just... ok. They store is clean and comfortable and the restrooms are kept up well. Read more
I drove all the way across town because the big apple bagel on Washington was out of all the popular bagels by 9am and not... making anymore for the day (bummer). Came to this shop and they were fully stocked with bagels, muffins and the cheeses. Thestore clerks were friendly and engaging. I will now make the trip to this shop instead of the Washington street store from nowon. Read more
