Great food. Calamari was great, served on a bed of cabbage slaw with peanuts. Very good. The shrimp tacos and fish sandwich... were both excellent. We will be back for sure. Service was very good. Read more

This was our first time here and it was very pleasant. We didn't know it was a nicer/swanky restaurant before we went because if... we would have known we would have been more appropriately dressed. We got the crab dip w/pita chips to share. Warning, the pitachips were so hard and crunchy I couldn't eat them. My husband ordered the new york strip(medium, which it wasn't) and it was sotough he had trouble chewing it. His garlic mashed potatoes were really good, but the asparagus was something to be desired. Iordered the bbq ribs, small potatoes(they were seasoned perfectly), and corn medley. Our server was Madison who was very niceand accommodating. The kitchen guy, I believe his name is Francisco was absolutely wonderful! He was the one who brought ourfood out. He was very nice and charming. I ordered a slice of turtle cheesecake to go and it was ok. All in all, it was a niceexperience and I'm sure we'll be back. Read more

The food was very good. The menu options satisfied everyone at the table. It was very busy, which took away from the service.... Also, we were seated at the bar at a high top table. After waiting almost 45 minutes, I just wanted to eat. This did take awayfrom the dining experience for me. That is why I couldn't give it 5 stars Read more

This place is worth the wait!! Holland, Michigan was the perfect family vacation for us and Boatwerks was our ideal last dinner... in town. They are the main waterfront restaurant in the area, so plan to enjoy the park next door while you wait. I was adamantabout having dinner on the waterfront, so the estimated 2 hour wait would have to do. Luckily we actually waited just over anhour, but the breathtaking views made it all worth while to be seated outside. We got delicious food and drinks and watched thesun go down on the water. I definitely recommend the shrimp tacos! The entire town of Holland is magical, so make sure to addthis restaurant on your next visit! Read more

Definitely worth a visit as the view from the patio is super nice. My favorite item I had was the bruschetta appetizer and... lemonade/blueberry pie. The mains were solid - I had the perch sandwich and crab Mac and cheese - but nothing too memorable.Lastly, the service was just a little too inattentive for the price point. After being seated no one came by for a solid 10 plusminutes, and then it took another 10 minutes just to bring us water. I know places are constrained with staffing shortages, butthis was a little frustrating. All in all though our sever did do a great job once we ordered our food. Read more

This place has a very nice view of the lake and the food is pretty good. We went in mid week for a meal and there was no... waiting. The parking area is very big too so you will always find a space. I ordered the Walleye and also a chocolate brownieice cream that was delicious. Read more

Had a wonderful dinner with family and new friends. The atmosphere is casual and comfortable and the drinks were good. We... ordered the Autumn salad to share and it was savory and delicious. We also wanted to try a cup of the clam chowder and it washearty and creamy. I decided to try the braised beef and it was perfectly tender and seasoned well. Read more
