Food was delicious and the staff was very nice. They added an 18% tip to our food. She would have gotten a much better tip... without including it in our bill. Sorry but we won't be going back. Read more
I had a wonderful experience at El Tayta! It doesn’t get any better than fried fish with an ocean view. We probably had a bit... too much Pisco sour, but it was really well made????. Congrats to the bartender and specially them Venezuelan waitresses formaking our time there a great experience. Read more

Service is super slow. We wait for one hour for the food and the end it was very basic flavor. One of us asked for grill octopus... and they give us a fried one very grease. We were surprised when they changed for a grill one in only two minutes but still wasgrease and chewy. We asked for a Lomo Saltado and comparing with the last 10 I have tried this is in the last position. Theyadvertise themselves as the best Peruvian food but definitely they are not. A good way to learn how to improve their food issend the chef to a good Peruvian restaurant around the area to compare their food. I gave them two stars because their staff issuper friendly! Not sure what I had to wait for longer, my food or to pay. Food was alright. Nothing impressive. They charged me for empanadas... a different price than what’s on the menu. I was very close to walking out of here without paying just for the fact I waitedto pay for so long and seen several servers pass by multiple times. Slow service. And I hate slow service. Especially whenthese servers and buzzers walk by you and see you in the corner of your eye. But have no responsibility or integrity to check onall table to see if anyone needs anything Read more
Update: Nov 2020 - visited again and food was fantastic and service was excellent. The outside socially distanced tables were... full. Original review: Perfect location right on the beach for awesome seafood. While snapper, steak, ceviche are allexcellent. Service can be hot or cold. Read more
