I love this place a lot! They are always super nice and the food is great!! They have the best meatballs and the pizza is... "chef's kiss!" I love that they have a drive-thru. Place your order by phone they give you an estimation of time, drive up,order up! My kids love the pizza here lots. And they think a drive-thru pizzeria is really cool. Read more
Lousy pizza and terrible customer service. Had Papa John's in Young Circle 4 days before and a much more pleasant experience and... better pizza. So 1st time ordering walked up to the window and the pizza cook is yelling something at me as he's walking away. Ican't hear because US1 traffic is 15' behind. So didn't know but you go to a separate building next door to pay. Then you walkback to a different side window give them receipt and after they said 20 minutes i was there in 30 minutes and still waiting. So$26.00 for 1 large pepperoni pizza that sucked. On a positive note at least I didn't get sick. Trust me try anywhere else. Read more
First and last time ordering pizza there! I love New York style pizza and the hint of sweetness the style offers but this... pepperoni pizza I ordered was made in the sugar factory they had to have added more sugar to the sauce cause ain?t no way! Ipaid $31 for a large pizza and garlic rolls and the rolls were the best part I couldn?t even eat 1 whole slice because it waswayyyy too sweet. If you have diabetes this will kill you and I?m not just exaggerating. If you have little kids they will loveit because they will think they are eating pizza and drinking kool aid at the same time. When I visit my mom in Miami I expect some good Cuban food to be the first thing that I eat when I arrive. Did I expect pizza?!?... Nope. Am I super stoked that she brought me here SURE AM! We are from NJ so we are generally a little snobby with our pizza. Idid not expect to love this place as much as I did! Pizza was great! Thin crust, just enough sauce and cheese. All there garlicpowder, crushed red peppers and grated cheese for you to use, like a real pizza place should! Took away a star because of thezeppolis. They were good, not the greatest and not truly a real Zeppole. Zeppole are usually large, fluffy and have a nice softbite. These were small and basically pizza dough with powdered sugar. My hubby and I reside in the Metro Detroit area, we are frequent visitors to the Hollywood/Fort Lauderdale area. My hubby... mistakenly drove by Joe?s Old School pizzeria, came back to our condo and insisted on taking our family there for dinner. Wellwe were all VERY GRATEFUL he mistakenly drove by the restaurant, the pizza was immaculate!! Nelson, the cook, was absolutelyawesome, he was very personable and outgoing!! The wonderful hostess/cashier was once a fellow Metro Detroiter, herself. Weregret not catching her name, but she was absolutely fantastic too!!! I ordered two pizzas. I was looking forward to these pizzas. They gave me the wrong pizzas. I got to keep them. They did credit... me for a future purchase. That was fair. The garlic rolls are a good size. They tasted great. I ordered them with extra garlicsauce. I enjoyed them. One of the pizzas that came was a cheese one. I thought the cheese did not have a lot of flavor, ormaybe it was overwhelmed by the sweet flavor of the sauce. It was too sweet for my taste, the sauce. The second pizza that cameby mistake was amushrooms and onion. The sweet sauce flavor was not was strong on that one. I could still taste it but not asstrong. The crust was good. The pizzas were big. I'm in love with this place! I love old school vibes and anywhere I can grab a slice. I always get the two slices and a can of... soda special. The pizza reminds me of boardwalk pizza which I absolutely love. I highly recommend Joe's! Read more
