Went to this polo and there were two guys working with food without gloves. One guy (Salei) was preparing dishes for customers.... I stood there and watched this guy rub his nose twice and scratch the inside of his ear. I also noticed him picking up a quarterpiece chicken and putting it in a to go plate with that very hand. I asked the manager why is he handling food with his barehands. She goes over and say something to him he looks over at me, rolls his eyes grabs gloves holds them in his hand. He neverputs the gloves on but continues to handle food. He then proceeds to tell everyone who's working back there that I saidsomething including the other young man working on the deep fryer with no gloves on and on his cell phone. The guy in the firstpicture is the guy at the fryer with his phone in hand and the second was an attempt at getting one of Salei but it wasn'tclear. Read more
I normally go to Pollo to buy food but on this particular location my experience was horrible. I come inside to place my order... and the cashier is not there , after I placed my order the cashier left without me even pay , I was paying with a gift card andmy own card and I had to wait for 5 minutes standing on the register for another employee to come and ask what's going on. AfterI get my order handed I told the employee that I was still missing the drinks since she had already closed the order on thescreen, she replied "yes " and started working on another order leaving me feeling ignored , she did one order and I asked heragain for my drinks she said " yes " and started working on another order , at that time I asked for the Manager , she camepromptly but she didn't wanted to hear what I wanted to say I only had time to say that I was missing my drinks and she went toget them without even looking at me, I my opinion she didn't want to deal with me, I've been a Manager on Retail for 8 years andI know that's the attitude she had. I'll never come back to this Pollo Tropical , even If I have to drive a longer I'll go toanother. Read more
Since opening i think this location has been keeping their level of service up to standard. I don't know for anyone else's... experience but sometimes it maybe a little wait but the food is always good and up to quality standard. Read more
Waited 1 hour in drive thru just because the kids wanted the food! Girl taking the order not polite at all asking you what you... want with attitude. When i asked for sauces at the window she rolled her eyes at me and had a look if disgust. When i went inthe store because they gave me the wrong order no apologies or anything she tried to blame me even tho the order was correct onthe receipt and had to wait another 10. Just save your time and money and go to KFC or Popeyes down the street i know its notthe same thing but much better for your mental health! Read more

THIS IS THE WORST Pollo Tropical I HAVE EVER BEEN TO.I placed an order online for pick up in store at the Pollo Tropicallocation at 311 S. State Road 7 Hollywood, Fl 33023.When I arrived dine-in was closed and I saw a young lady leaving so Itold her I have an online order that is ready for pickup. She asked me my name and said she would check for my order. Afterwaiting she came back and told me there was no order under that name and I probably ordered over the closing time so I showedher my phone with the status of my order as ready for pickup and she said she was going to check again. I waited for about 7minutes wondering why is she taking so long. When I looked to the side I saw the same young lady going through the back door andheading towards a car to leave.Immediately I started knocking on pollo tropical door to get someone attention. there was aboutfour ladies in the kitchen and they saw me knocking and no one would answer. I contemplated going through the drive through butthe line was so long so I went around to the other door and started knocking again and finally a young man who was cleaning sawme and open the door. I told him I had an online order ready for pickup and I have been waiting outside for someone to give memy order. He got the manager and I explained the whole situation about the young lady I spoke to.I finally got my Order after20 minutes of my order being ready for pickup and it was very cold. I will not come back to this pollo tropical because theassociates are rude and dismissive and the customer service is TERRIBLE.you need to retrain your associates on how to deal withcustomers. I ordered using the app and was there to pick up at 2:20pm I did the check in and waited and waited I called the telephone... number in the app and it was a Corporate office was told that they called to check what was the order status and not even theycould get through. I walked in and picked my order very cold after 35 minutes. I will never order curbside again. Will avoidthis Pollo Tropical. If you offer a service you should be able to provide it. Read more
Waited for 40 minutes for an online order after the told pick up time because 'they gave the order out to the wrong person'.... Then they give you an attitude for their mistake. And to top it off, they don't have half of the sauces. Read more
