Great friendly service. Shabo’s has both inside and outside dinning. Everything was really good. I liked that the Mixed Grill... was served on a heated platter so stayed warm. The baklava looked so delicious, we forgot to take a photo until it was toolate. Read more
Here are some comments to help future customers. This restaurant is very well decorated, nice and the waitresses we met were... very nice and did a good job. Unfortunately, the food was not a winner for us. We are big fans of shawarma and especiallyhummus. We were disappointed with the humus (too much tahini for our taste). The taste was bitter. We did not eat our falafeleither. It is normally tender with a sweet taste of chickpeas. But these were bitter too. (We didn't ask to have it removed fromour bill since he agreed to change our beef dish) We had the chicken and beef shawarma. I would like to point out that the beefhad a lot of "hard fat". The cook had mentioned this as normal so that the meat would have more flavor… normally the marinadeis supposed to do the job. (Fat at this point, I had never seen this elsewhere...) However, the chicken was very good with thegarlic mayo, it was delicious. We were lucky because the cook accepted to change the beef for chicken (be careful to the nextcustomers that they don't take back your dish if you don't like it). For the rest it was ok, the couscous had no flavor. I foundthe prices a bit high to compare with elsewhere, but with the current life that everything increases, it’s understandable. LOVED the food! Lovely resturant, beautifully decorated, and great ambiance. The chef has his own YouTube channel that shows how... he makes the recipes on the menu playing on the TV which is super cool to see. I subscribed to the YouTube channel. Staff werean 11/10. Presentation 11/10. Taste 11/10. We WILL be returning customers when we visit Hollywood FL again. Read more
Amazing food. Very Mediterranean infused flavors so if you’re picky about seasonings, ask how it’s made. Service was... exceptional even on a busy Mother’s Day evening! Will be returning! Read more
Everything was great - ambience, service as well as food. We ordered a appetizer combo platter including hummus , baba ganoush ,... grape leaves and pita - it was super smooth and silky (really amazing). For main course we ordered chicken shwarma and molokhia-both were good. Love the decor and ambiance and our server was super friendly and attentive. Food was tasty as well and presented very nicely! I... think the burger tasted the best out of what we ordered. The maqluba was good but different than I expected. I hadn’t had atomato sauce based version of it before. Hubby said the Chicken skewer was cooked well although it was a little bland for mytaste. Only took a star off because the server automatically added our tip for us (which the receipt said it would do if it’sa party of 6 or more) but it was just my husband and I with our twin babies and we were the only folks dining in at theotherwise empty restaurant. We usually tip more than the amount stated and service was good too so that’s not a problem— butjust found it a little strange and off putting in an otherwise great experience! Read more

This a solid spot to grab some food. The presentation was great. Definitely 5 stars on that aspect. Food was pretty good but I... wouldn’t say it was great. However; the Baklavah was absolutely out of this world and if you come here do not leave withoutgetting that. It was 10/10 and might be the best I’ve ever had. If you live in Hollywood this place is worth checking out fordinner. Read more
