First time trying this restaurant. First off, pricing is higher than expected. You would expect, not more, but better ingredient... in it. ( the benny’s benedict shown in my photo is about half portion size) I have never seen an eggs benedict in a brunchplace being priced at $19(except those located in fancy hotels and near tourist sites) I personally prefer the traditionalversion but still open to innovation and creativity. However honestly this is a failed attempt. (Again, just personalpreference). For the waffle, first of all it tastes more like a cake. in cake’s standard, it is very fluffy and soft. But asa waffle it should have sort of a crisp shell, and fluffy inside. Secondly, about 1/3 of the topping fruit has gone bad andobviously they didnt check before serving them. I think for a “waffle” that costs ~$13 I should at least get some freshfruit. I wanted to give 1 star but considering that some people might prefer cake-like waffles, I gave it 2 stars. It's not very often that your french fries show up still crispy, but this time they did. My salad was soggy, the food is... mediocre, not sure I'd spend the money again for the quality. Read more
They sat us quickly because we were willing to sit at the bar. It took a good 10 min to take our order. The latte was lukewarm... (at best) with bubbles instead of foam. The “fresh” orange juice was from a plastic gallon jug. My chicken and waffles nevercame. We were told “coming right out” several times and then finally a thinly sliced chicken sandwich I never orderedarrived 40 min after ordering. Everyone, including the owner was super nice about it, but unfortunately on a busy day like aholiday Monday, they just didn’t have the staff to get it right. Great spot for a not-so-typical brunch. An exciting menu and friendly staff made our meal such a good time. Props to our server,... Kristen, for bringing an ice bucket to cool out champagne before we even had to ask. Highly recommend! Read more
Wow! This place didn’t disappoint. Im a big breakfast guy and I’ve seen their posts on social media,so we decided to take... the ride out there and give it a try. Just look at the photos! I wish i can eat the photos again. This place is not all hype. Ithink they have multiple locations, this one was on 35. Great atmosphere and great service. Very comfortable inside. Though it was busy and a couple of people were waiting for a table, ut was worth it! Our server Carlos was attentive,... responding to requests immediately. The food not only looks amazing, but tastes even better! Great combinations with good,healthy choices available. We will definitely be back again! Read more
The coffee is amazing, and love that they offer sourdough bread. However, the service was so bad to the point that I kept having... to go to the counter to ask for things we never received, and my omelette was so over cooked that it was brown and tasted like asponge. It’s a beautiful interior and my father’s meal was great, hence the 3 stars. I just can’t get over how the cookthought it was okay to serve such a gross plate of burnt eggs to someone, sorry.
