My waitress was nice and there were other staff members assisting each other but the food was not good. I ordered egg croissant... and it was dry. The egg was cooked completely through, the croissant was dry and seemed stale. I also had grits and it waspretty good. Relatively short wait time versus other places on the island. The staff was very courteous and the food was excellent. Actual... corned beef hash, not a can of Hormel like I was served at another establishment yesterday. The omelette my wife had wasexcellent as well. Great little spot for breakfast and lunch. They serve both meals all day until they close at 2:30pm. For breakfast, we highly... recommend any of the eggs Benedict's. There are several variations on the menu, and the eggs are poached perfectly and they doan excellent job with their hollandaise sauce. They also have some excellent crispy-on-the-outside, soft-on-the-inside homefries- definitely order this as your side item! The omelets are all huge. In addition to coming with a breakfast side, they alsocome with a slice of buttered raisin bread, which is always a huge plus for me! ???? For lunch, they have specials of the day,including quiche of the day, and soup of the day. Today's soup of the day was chicken and kale, and while it sounds boring andhealthy, it was excellent!
