The food was deeply mediocre. What do I mean? The hummus was bland, it was more watery than hummus should be, held no flavor... of normal hummus, no garlic, nothing. Presentation was fine, flavor/recipe was not. The chicken kabob was 100% disappointing.It was the driest chicken I've had in ages. It took water to choke down. I didn't even eat the second kabob. The rice wasfine. The tabbouli salad was average, made with the correct ingredients, didn't seem fresh, but the flavor was adequate. Allin all, it was food, not worth the price, but that's because I'm from a place with a great Mediterranean food. So the bar wasalready high. Read more
I've eaten here during shutdown & ordered out several times. This was the first time I had the opportunity to enjoy a meal "out"... in the dining room if this amazing establishment! Can't say enough for the service & atmosphere, thank you so much for thelovely evening! Read more
So very tasty! I was looking for some kind of different "fast food", I always avoid the typical burger, chicken, taco & pizza... places so Zaytoon was perfect! My meal was the Gyro Platter and for dessert Baklava. As I was getting ready to pay for my orderthe Greek Fries caught my eye and I had to. Really I had to! Fries, feta cheese and olives I needed this in my life! Oh, simpleperfection! Of course couldn't eat it all so leftovers for breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful considering I wastraveling and had never been to this restaurant. The restaurant itself could use a bit of care and a good hardcore cleaning in"those places that usually get ignored". Overall I would definitely come back and try different menu items.
