Worst Friendly's left open. When they downsized their footprint they would have served their brand better by eliminating this... location. Holyoke is my city, i eat sleep and work here. I did my best to buy local. This location has continuously disappointedme. I don't know if it's the lack of training or more sinister intensions. But tonight is the night they lost a family ofcustomers. I have tried on numerous occasions to allow them to redeem themselves by just providing the service in a professionalmanner. Not once did i burden them with unrealistic expectations. Just simple professionalism. Read more
Holyoke,Ma. Never again! I order online and pick up. Always forget items from meals. Salad had brown lettuce and slimy tomatoes.... Check the quality of the food you are serving! Not worth my money anymore. Read more
I'm a Friendly's life-long customer and I must say this location was very disappointing. We were in town from Connecticut and... thought this Friendly's would be as good as the one in North Haven. It was NOT. The food was only ok, in part because I thinkthey may have been short a cook. I actually sent back my buffalo chicken tenders because they had no flavor and were dry andcold. Stood waiting for almost 10mins without anyone even speaking to me. Theres 4 tables with customers. And one couple at the... icecream window. A waitress even looked at me and walked right back to the kitchen. Had i been seated i wouldnt have mindedwaiting. But to act as if ibwasnt there. No. Ive seen busy restaurants and short staffed restaurants even managed one before.ALWAYS acknowledge your customers. I can see why everyone skips all friendly locations. What a great location. We visited on a Sunday afternoon and we've to the ice cream window to place our order. The staff was kind... and patient with 3 kids deciding what they wanted, even suggesting they try some flavors first. I was very appreciative and wethoroughly enjoyed our visit! Read more
Great place to go for ice cream treats and tasty take out like burgers and fries I prefer over Five Guys. Be sure to get the app... and sign up for Friendly's generous rewards based on activity like dollars spent or sundaes purchased. The staff is generallynot very energetic or enthusiastic, but they get the job done well. Ordering in advance via the app is ideal to spend littletime waiting at the restaurant for take out. We loved the retro decor. The fish and chips were fantastic. Clam chowder was pretty good as well. The ice cream was delicious!
