This place is excellent! I had an elk burger, which is flavorful while being super-lean, a savory sweet/spicy thing. Our... waitress, Anisette, also recommended sticking with the house made potato chips, which frankly are the best I have ever hadanywhere. Lastly, Anisette steered me to the Nutella shake and I ended up waaaay too stuffed, but everything I ate made me veryhappy. But mostly I have to say Anisette was amazing: she was honest, clear and really masterful in finding out what we wantedin general and guiding us to what would make us happy. I don't know Anisette, but I wish I did, because she is one of thosepeople that masters their corner of the world and can brilliantly and genuinely guide you to an experience that's way betterthan you could have done on your own. As name sounds it has all Burgers. They serve with potato chips, dollar extra for fries and other sides. They do some great... impossible burgers for vegans. Definitely 5 stars for shakes and must try Nutella shake. Read more
Best shakes I?ve ever had. My friend Oz downed one in 2 minutes and made himself sick. I says to him, I says ?was it worth it??... and he says ?yup.? I tried the Piggy Butter & Jelly burger just for the novelty of it, but it was actually delicious. Thepatties here are thick and tasty, and the buns are perfect. The chips and fries are nothing to write home about, but that?sreally not why you come here. Our waitress was also very kind and helpful. A must-try if you?re in Pittsburgh. Read more
I chose the make your own option. The burger wasn't terrible but it was missing the flavor and boldness I was hoping for. I... would try a different menu option if I ever went again. I did however enjoy the vanilla cream float. All in all the service waspretty good and it was a clean nice environment. Read more
TAKEOUT Experience. I really want to note that this was not customer service related whatsoever but this was a really... disappointing quality of food. I also want to note that with the impact of supply chain etc I totally get that places arehurting for quality products. With that being said we ordered takeout and I actually got there before the food was ready sincewe live about 5 minutes away. We both got chicken burgers and they were just really really bad. Dry, severely over cooked, andburnt. Despite being 5 mins away both of our orders were cold and I'm assuming our fries/chips hadn't been freshly fried. Myboyfriends bun was completely stale and I was missing my side of sauce. I don?t even want to write this because I know how badpeople are struggling in hospitality right now but the food was honestly just gross and we ended up having to get somethingelse. Read more
Our family really enjoyed our meal at Burgatory! Heads up there is almost always a wait, but you can go shopping nearby while... you are waiting on your table. The service did forget to give us utensils so we end walking around taking clean utensils fromempty tables. We really liked our appetizer ?fork it? - it?s essentially poutine, but not with a crazy amount of gravy (which wepreferred). I had the elk burger and it was fantastic! I tried my partners bison burger and it was also stellar. Try some of thesauces to dip with your fries - we like mixing the garlic mayo and spicy ketchup together. The burgers are unique and tasty and worth a try even if you think you might not like something. Drinks were pretty and strong.... I tried the beans but they weren't for me. Read more
