Reviews for Pittsburgh Improv in Homestead, PA
The Improv really needs to build a stage where everyone in the venue can see the talent because their tiered seating doesn?t... work. Included is a view of the stage from my seat on the second tier. This is my third time here since moving to the areaand my only complaint. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. Read more
Pittsburgh Improv is an awesome venue. As a first time visitor to Pittsburgh, I was looking for something to do in a Friday... night, and coming to a comedy show here on a Thursday night ended up being a perfect choice. I was able to get a ticket to theshow the same day and I was seated even though I came close to showtime. The staff was really friendly and I had a great host. Iwould come here again and it was in a pretty area of Pittsburgh. Read more
Arie Spears was so hilarious and I really enjoyed the atmosphere at the Pittsburgh Improv. We sat with another couple who... shared the table with us and they were cool. There was no issues just a lot of laughter and great times and definitely lookingto come back in July. Read more
Shows are usually good, although if you're NOT of average height and are not first in line to get into that first walkway/row;... you have a damn good chance having a very limited view (especially if the comic sits down, if they seat late arrivals in frontof you, or if you are somehow seated behind a living reincarnation of Shrek from halfway back in the audience or more). Two itemminimum with all shows, menu items are pricey, but if you're part of their email list you have chances for free tickets. Read more
Awesome place!! Went to see Tony Baker this weekend and laughed my brains out! It's a wonderful club, the staff are awesome and... I like that there is security and also police hang around there so safety is guaranteed. The building is well maintained, I lovethe intimate design of the place and it's just a great spot to hang out. Tickets to the shows are affordable and drinks areawesome.. plenty of free parking which is rare in Pittsburgh. Highly recommend if you love comedy stand up shows. Read more
My wife and I go anytime there is a great act we know. Tickets are cheap, food and drink are dinner quality. No hesitation in... just deciding to have dinner and a show at the Improv. Always great seats. Bobcat in pics. Read more
I always come to a comedy show at the Improv expecting a great time. It's low ceilings and intimate atmosphere work for the... experience. We ordered nachos and pretzels appetizers and drinks before the show started and were able to talk with our waitressand other guests before the show. The prices are a little high, but the atmosphere is magic. Bob Saget and opener Mike Youngwere the acts, and they were great. The acoustics are decent, but not perfect for music and talking acts. They need to work onthe audio. The great thing about the Improv, it's small enough that you don't have a bad seat in the house. Great shows. Read more
Decent food and GREAT show. This is probably just me but the air ventilation could have been better.
