Favorite ice cream spot in Alabama. My favorite flavor is the key lime pie ice cream which is unfortunately a seasonal flavor. I... forgot to take a photo before starting to eat it but today I went with the sea salt chocolate which I personally wish was alittle more salty! Wow just wow! I?ve been wanting to come here for forever and I finally didn?t have to wait any longer. I had the half flight in... a waffle cone with the goat cheese ice cream which was amazing! I also had the bramble berry crumble which I loved! The top ofthe flight was the magic city, the chocolate covered potato chips really added an extra texture to the ice cream. It wasabsolutely heavenly! My new favorite ice cream place and I will be back probably next week. Read more
As Big Spoon?s second store front, it has been nice to be able have the choice of a second location just depending on where we... are eating dinner and which location is more convenient to ge to! This store front boasts more indoor seating versus the 1ststore front in Avondale has a very nice outdoor seating area. Read more
Easily my favorite ice cream place with no close competition. Now that I don't live in Birmingham, I always make sure to stop by... when I'm visiting even if it's out of the way. They outdid themselves with the goat cheese blackberry and the toasted coconutflavors. Read more

AMAZING!!!! Wish we had one in Oklahoma! Loved the dairy-free strawberry sorbet. My son can?t have dairy and I?m still nursing... him, so it was SO NICE to enjoy some ice cream with the family that was DELICIOUS! I wish I could go back and try the nondairyvanilla with mixed berries, too. That?s my only regret, that I couldn?t have more. My husband and I would consider ourselves icecream connoisseurs, and he said that was the most delicious ice cream he has ever tasted (he had cookies & cream on a chocolatewaffle cone). Also, the sweet girl who served us was the best! She was so kind, friendly and genuine and really loved her job-it was evident. 10/10 would recommend. Worth every penny. Read more
Tried the Olive Oil ice cream. Surprisingly, it was amazing! Little richer than plain vanilla with super creamy texture. Also... they offer AMAZING hot cocoa on the weekends, with homemade toasted marshmallows. Very rich, but very worth it. Read more
