Check your food before you leave if they?re busy. I ordered the ?Sweet grace? with extra whipped cream and they did not include... the strawberries. So I literally just got a chocolate chip waffle that I could get for the fraction of the price at WaffleHouse.. they included the whipped cream on the hot waffle so it was melted by the time we got home.. Let me start by saying that I really do not like giving bad reviews, but in this case, I have to. I am giving one star for the... overall experience. First, the cashier with the sling on her arm was friendly and helpful when it came to taking the order, shealso made sure that we were aware that we should tip the staff before we actually experienced the service (bad move). Afterpaying for our food, we were assured that we would be notified when our breakfast was ready (we sat outside). Well, none of theabove happened. An actual patron who was leaving had to let us know that our food was ready and sitting inside, getting cold.That leads me to the cold eggs, extra hard bacon, and this one star review. It is my feeling that if you are going to requestfor patrons to tip before receiving the actual service and food, then both should be impeccable. The meal was $44.00 (tipincluded), for cold eggs, extra hard bacon, and zero service from the staff. I was tempted to leave the dishes on the outsidetable for the staff to collect, but I am from south and was not raised that way. At any rate, the staff was to busy sitting onthe inside and engaged in cell phones and tablets to care. Will I return? Maybe, if I hear about change from a payingcustomer. Would I recommend? I ordered the Bam Yo-Yo. It is the chicken and waffle meal. The waffle was perfect! It has bacon bits cooked into the batter.... The chicken strips were crispy and spicy ????. I came during the Saturday morning rush so the small restaurant was crowded andnoisy with guests trying to place an order and find seating. You seat yourself where ever and with whomever you find an openspace. Staff calls your 'name' and you fetch your order from the counter. Thirty minutes later, my mimosa was half gone by thetime I was called to fetch my meal. I was parked a block away from the restaurant so I enjoyed a hot latte on the walk back tomy car. Read more
