I asked for orange chicken and chow mein. They gave me half a scoop of orange chicken and fried rice and to "correct the problem... they throw a handful of chow mein on top of the fried rice. The Panda on 167th in Country Club Hills needs new cooks and a better policy on serving burned food to their customers. I went... in yesterday to get a medium Chow Mein and thats it. I mention to the employee that the last time I was there I received anentire large container of Chow Mein that was burned and had a burned flavor, which made me question if they tasted the foodbefore they sat it out; she said no. The Chow Mein that was in the steam table appeared over cooked, burned, and slightly dry;so I asked were they planning on making more. She took the tonges and tossed the noodles, then told me no and that they won'tmake more until that is gone. I asked can I taste it before I buy it, she said they don't give out samples. Ok, can you taste itthe? She then told me that if I think the food was burned that I shouldn't purchase it; I was appalled! There was no way I wassuppose to leave that location to go to the one on Lincoln Hwy for better service and not burned noodles. Throw the whole placeaway. They always have issues at that location. Its 12pm, lunch time, out of 9 entries only 3 were ready and available. Really 2 because the tray with chicken kung pan didn't... have any chicken left. These people don't have any plan. So I've ordered sweet fire chicken and Bejing beef, she told me I haveto wait 10 minutes for chicken teriyaki. I said ok. I've paid and she didn't pass me the box with the food that was ready. Sheis like oh do you want those right now? Of course I'm not going to let it sit and wait till its cold.. Plus the lo main isgetting more and more plain with every year, I've wrote my concern on Panda Express site, but no response. It used to have moreveggies, cabage, carrots and onions, but now its almost all plain noodles. Read more
I didn't eat there myself, but the place is pretty roomy, clean and the food looked good. Went there during lunch time, and it... seemed they had everything ready to go. Always appreciate management that anticipates periods of high demand. Read more
I ordered beef and broccoli and received ONE piece of meat! It's all broccoli and rice! The temperature was barely warm. Seems... like I received the leftovers from lunch. This is totally unacceptable. I have numerous restaurants to choose from and goingforward Panda Express will NOT be one of them. Panda Express is not consistent in their quality. This location is listed as having dine in. They don?t. It has a limited menu - not mentioned on their listing on the website... either. The person handling payments didn?t seem to know how to process gift cards but then told me the process required manualentry of the card number. Really, Panda? I am disappointed that 1) you put a location in the position of disappointing guestsand 2) you have not supported your employees with process that is less cumbersome on a simple transaction. Have hardly been to Panda in the past, but I'd been wanting to enjoy it again for some time. Finally thought to search for one... on our trip. Very pleased with that choice. They have a family meal option that feed the five of us for more than one meal--so agreat value. They didn't have all the food we ordered ready right away, but the server gave us a little bonus food for the wait.Great service and great food. Read more
Generally short staffed, even during the lunch rush. Food is standard Panda quality tho, just expect a wait in the line or drive... thru. Your guess is as good as mine to which door will be unlocked. Read more
