I moved to Homewood in May 2022. I've gone here faithfully. I normally like the food and the service, but the last two times I... ordered beef sandwich, it was dipped, even though I specified I wanted it dry. Two weeks ago, it happened again. I calledimmediately to complain as the sandwich was falling apart. I asked for a manager and a woman got on. I explained the situation(no apology given) she said I can comeback for a remake or for a refund. I said I did not have time because I grabbed somethingfast because I needed to pick my nephew up from Midway. She said, no problem. Just be sure to BRING THE SANDWICH BACK WHEN YOURETURN. I'm like excuse me, I just told you I can't make it back today, so you want me to hold on to the sandwich? Yes! Shesaid. I told her that was ridiculous and I wanted to speak to someone else. She put me on hold for a long time and I hung up. Idid a complaint online and someone emailed me back and said they will contact the owner to have them contact me. Well, that was2 weeks ago. There are too many other places to go to--I will not deal with terrible customer service and an owner who clearlydoesn't give a damn about loyal customers. They lost me. I won't be back and will tell my friends and family to avoid thisplace. Read more

My requested char-grilled chicken sandwich was cold, and loaded with too much mayo. Not off the grill. 3 cooks behind the grill.... My requested char-grilled polish was barely even steamed, and loaded with too much relish. Not a grill mark in sight...I wasdisappointed, this time, for Pops usually gets it right every time. The food is normally good but today was a HUGE disappointment and will not return. The cashier was in his feelins first off... based off of interaction doing my order. Then get the food and EVERYTHING was not seasoned at all! Even the brisk that wasmentioned sweet, was watered down extremely. I literally just threw out my meal halfway because I just couldn't enjoy any of it.Plus the tables and floors are completely dirty without maintenance and the fries recooked and hard. I love going to this place it's clean it has I saw like nine different suits at this one it was very nice they had their lunch... specials I got like two soups the rice soup and the cheddar the cheddar soup Monday special. The only thing I would say is Iwould like somebody that's putting my food in the bag to have on gloves cuz we're still going over to understand people washtheir hands but a lot of stuff still hide so the food is good. And props also have a lot of them but this one I went to I havebeen the three pop so far the original one I've been to was on Kedzie in the city and that's why I fell in love with their foodbut all of them handling the food and everything is not the same like the city they got less to no one's got more soup. Missing a star.. On our order to go, both my daughter's and son-in-laws meat ball sandwiches were cold. The cheese wasn't even... melted. and my family lives less than a quarter of a mile away from Pop's. Me and my wife's food was hot and very good.Customer service was very good.
