1st they declined my charge card. I immediately got an email from credit card company since I wss out of town even though I had... been using card in Chicago all week. When the guy called my order 151, I said that wasn't my entire order. My burger and largechocolate cake shake was missing. He turned around, grabbed my burger and slid it across to me. I said what about my shake? Hesaid it wasn't on my order and walked away leaving me. Look at the ticket I posted. I paid for it and it's on the receipt!Finally got a lady to make it. Food was great. The wait for an Italian beef and cheese fries was ridiculously long. Several people behind me received their food before me.... Thankfully, the gentleman delivering orders offered me a free drink for my wait, which is why I gave 2 stars instead of zero.The food itself was trash. I asked for my beef to be double dipped, but it was beyond dry and the cheese was not evenlydistributed. Will not be back to this location. Read more
Hate to do this but the service needs to get better asap. My party and myself ordered Italian beefs. I had to wait much longer... for my order. My party finished by the time I got mine. My party was only 3 people and it wasn't busy. My food sat the waitingarea for while before someone checked on the bags. I sat down and realized that no hot peppers. I asked the supervisor for somepeppers and I was asked if I had paid for them but that's after she walked away from me without saying anything. I assumed I didpay for it since I had asked for them when I paid. I wasn't charged so I just didn't want to bother to press the issue. I simplywon't be returning because I believe that service is expected when dining in. The lack of service wasn't limited to oneemployee. I ordered a chopped salad and this is how it looked. Like a lettuce salad. I showed it to the manager and she didn?t do nothing... about it. Not even refund my money. One of the workers asked if I needed anything and I told her more everything that comes init and extra house dressing. The manager pulled her to the side and said something to her. She then came to me and said wecharge .49 extra for more than two dressing. I told her that she was unbelievable and I?ll pay for 3 extras. It was a terribleexperience. Read more
Took over 20 minutes at the drive thru with only 4 cars in front of me - longest ever at a Portillos - go to a different... location as this one seems to be poorly managed. This is a generous 2 stars. As quite frankly service was a joke. 2 stars is because of the 30 minute wait but the dog was... actually good. Curbside pickup didn't exist. And then one server on pickup who was so busy he was lost. Manager who didn'tmanage. Food by the time it was received was lukewarm at best. Hard swerve this location as they couldn't manage service whenthis is literally their bread and butter. Get better. Read more
I love Portillo's as much as the next guy, but coming to this location makes me hate life. The service is awful, every time. The... employees act like Zombies. It takes 20 minutes to get anything done here. Stay away. "We can't sell beer because we're out ofmugs. Come back in 20 minutes when your meal is over." I waited 15 minutes to get this response.
