Stumbled upon this place after spending a couple hours at Homosassa Springs State Park. A lot of the food places in the area are... fast food and I was really hoping for an actual restaurant and meal. Art's Diner did not disappoint. I got biscuits and gravywith a side of bacon, all great. My wife got a turkey dinner, she loved it. Big portions of great food at not big prices.Looking forward to being in this area again so I can revisit! Read more
I usually get the Tuna Melt sandwich, which varies depending on which cook makes it. It's big enough for 2 seniors. The unusual... thing about this place is the staff-- they look like they have been there forever, and seem happy. You don't see that in thechain restaurants. I also like the bright & cozy atmosphere. First trip to Arts Diner. Won't be the last. Got there around 7:00 AM, then the place filled up fast. Menu covers breakfast and... lunch with dozens of nice items to choose from. Got the country fried steak, with hash browns, scrambled eggs and rye toast.Everything was excellent and for a fair price. The employees were friendly and helpful. Will definitely visit Arts again. Fantastic Place. We stopped by for a birthday brunch and none of us were disappointed. Chicken fried steaks, biscuits,... turkey and gravy and all the fixins. The service was stellar and everyone on staff was as nice as could be. Will definitely beback!! Read more
I was there last Saturday I usually get my daughter for a server but she was busy so I got Sheila well that was a big mistake... she must have been drinking because I could smell it on her every time she came to my table. Not only that but when she broughtus our food my wife's whole bottom of her plate was on my pancakes I'm sorry but that's unacceptable the bottom of those platesare not very clean. They get put down on the counter and God only knows what my wife's plate was sitting on. Not a very goodpractice for a server or a restaurant. Sadly to say this restaurant was my favorite place to eat but after that experience Ican't say I will go there again. Read more
Best biscuits and gravy I have ever had and I get this meal everywhere. The gravy was the perfect consistency, seasoned... perfectly and it had the right amount of gravy which is always my pet peeve. My husband had the pot roast and he loved it.Service was friendly, quick and we will be back! Just moved into the area so we are thrilled to find a great diner. Read more
