The atmosphere, drinks, appetizers, meals and dessert were all incredible. The decor is very cute and the little lake in the... back with the boating dock and event space is so well thought-out. My grandparents have raved about this place since it openedup and it was finally my turn to give it a go. I can?t wait to try more dishes in the future. We were really looking forward to visiting Wallace's at the Greenhouse after reading several great reviews, however, all four of... us were disappointed. To begin, we stopped in around 2 pm & were asked if we had reservations. The place wasn't crowded at all &no we didn't have reservations which seemed to annoy the hostess. They seated us right away & we loved the atmosphere, butreceived terrible service. Our waitress was borderline rude and condescending & not accommodating at all. We tried to orderdrinks off their speciality drink menu, but they were out of key ingredients & everything we ordered was not avaiable. The foodsounded exceptional, and all 4 of us ordered different entrées. However, again we were all disappointed in food quality. (Mymedium hamburger almost 'moo-ed' when I bit in to it & dripped blood.) I doubt if we will return. Read more
The food was simply amazing. So tasteful. I can't wait to go back and try other fish. The service and selection of food and... drinks was fantastic. Reservations are recommended. We went at 4pm on a Saturday and sat right down before the dinner rush. Read more
Wallace?s provided a very nice dining experience. They even allowed us to dine without a reservation. Warning- you should make a... reservation to this restaurant as they fill quickly and at times the specials are done by preorder. The staff were very niceand helpful. We enjoyed the seating areas that were open and decor very bright. The menu is interesting with an array ofdifferent offerings. The sourdough bread was hot, crispy, and delicious. The water was also amazing, apparently from theirwell. The shrimp and grits was delicious with the combination of the rue and andouille. The salmon was dry- probably a bitoverdone, but the coconut rice was good. The other menu items looked delicious it was hard to decide. The bathrooms were clean,single person. Very much enjoyed the evening, only drawback was that the AC was very high and place extremely cold- bring ajacket. Read more
My first time coming here was tonight, and this place is definitely 'Setting The Standard!!!' This place is what you call a very... nice, fine dining vibes local restaurant!!! I will definitely be returning. The food was great, excellent service, and a greatfew of the sunset and water after you're done eating. Highly recommend!! Read more
If I had to sum this place up in one word, I'd simply say WOW. The decor is quaint and homely; the service is warm and... welcoming; and the food is satisfying and comforting. Loved everything about this place. Had the calypso salad which was freshand flavourful; and the slow braised beef grilled cheese which was crispy, gooey and mouthwatering. A definite must visit. Wehope to return soon. Would recommend making a reservation because they are extremely popular. Read more
I was searching for a nice restaurant, something different but good. I came across Wallace's and was impressed by the guest... reviews. The place is sort of remote and on its own but it is definitely worth the ride. It has an eclectic decor and is on thesmaller side so call and make a reservation even for lunch. Wallace's has a pleasing atmosphere offering a wide selection ofspecialty beers and drinks. The food is made fresh and they offer a nice selection of dishes which my group of 5 reported asbeing delicious. The deserts were wonderful. I also want to compliment the waiter. We came in for a early lunch and oh boy was it amazing. We started with the crab dip and followed up with shrimp and grits. My... wife had lobster bisque and a Cesar salad. Everything was amazing, wait staff was very polite and helpful. If you are anywhereclose stop by. They do recommend reservations. Read more
