Although it looks like a typical village restaurant, the service and food are excellent. In November of 2016, I got the best... steak and eggs I've ever had at a diner. They don't have real maple syrup, but everything else about the place isgreat! UPDATE 2022-11-14 STILL GREAT! Just got a grilled cheese and lentil soup. Great food, great service, great prices! Food was good. Hostess not very friendly and business was extremely slow. $25.00 for two for lunch including drinks.

All in all, ok, the employees were friendly, and cordial, the fish fry dinner was good. If I could make a suggestion though,... I'd like to see the outside painted a pretty color or 2 for contrast, I think the restaurant would then be more inviting fromthe outside. Not Critic-sizing, just needs a pop of color is all. Critics is a wonderful, homey diner with consistently excellent home cooking every time. All wait staff are very friendly,... efficient and hospitable. The food is prepared and served very quickly fir your entire party. They have a wide selection ofdelicious options for all ages on their menu. Hostess should smile. Burger was not well done as asked. Not even on a good roll. Fish fry was ok, not any flavor. Fries were... not cooked enough. The price of my hot tea was a bit high. Over $2.30 for a basic tea bag! Read more
