My wife and I had a great experience on Friday night. Fantastic food and drinks and loved the building/atmosphere. My wife has... dairy and gluten allergies and our waitress and the kitchen were very accommodating. Our waitress and the bartender did anawesome job serving the whole restaurant by themselves. As a vegan I was looking for a good vegan Burger and this was the only place local that had a vegan Burger as an option. Glad I... had chosen this place cause it was one of the best tasting vegan burgers I've had. Also the style, lightning and super friendlyworkers inside made it vary laid back & relaxing. Read more
The decor was well done and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We had a good experience at Dyberry Forks and would be... willing to try them again in the future. Parts of our meal were very well executed and delicious, such as the smoked White Fishpuff pastry and the pickled onion and capers that accompanied the salmon. The salmon was well seasoned and properly cooked. Thebrisket was tender. We did, however, feel that some flavor combinations were a bit confusing, such as the sweet cabbage and theheavy use of oregano in the brisket. We also, strangely, got a call half an hour after we were seated advising that theycouldn't hold our table any longer. They were, seemingly, under the impression that we hadn't shown. Small cozy place to eat. Gets busy and recommend a reservation. Was sign on for stating they were booked full and no take out.... Also looking for help, which is so common these pandemic days. As a result, the service was a little slower but certainly withinreason given the circumstances. Got the creamy tomato soup for starter. Was creamy but was a bit short on salt. Mrs got theshort ribs with mashed potatoes. She loved and said might be the best gravy she ever had. I had the smoked hangar steak with vegstir fry. Overall, we loved our food but noticed the lack of salt. No big deal and easily added. Just want to point that outsince salt wakes up flavor and I'd hate to see anyone give this place a bad review simply because they didn't add some salt. Showed up 10 mins before 9 as google showed they were closing at 9:30 and we (a group of four) were only looking to get a drink,... but when we arrived we saw their sign said 9. They agreed to take us for a drink anyway and they seemed more than happy to doso. The drinks were all amazing and our bartender was so sweet and a lot of fun! I wish I could remember her name. Definitelymade an awesome first impression for customer service and I can?t wait to return to try their food. The atmosphere is definitelyunique as well and I really loved it. Give them a try!
